Toby and I will be traveling back to Houston tomorrow - it's always bittersweet when I leave home. I miss my family so much and hate to see them go BUT am so excited to be back in my home, in my bed, and with my husband:). I miss him so much and have come to realize how lucky I am to have such a great husband that doesn't mind if I travel to see my family. I love you and I'll be home tomorrow.
Keep Toby and I in your prayers as we travel tomorrow.
After a long trip from Houston, TX to Bowling Green, KY with a quick stop in Nashville, TN I finally met my newest neice last night, Lily, she's a beautiful baby girl and know that my brother and sister-in-law feel blessed to have such a healthy, happy child in their home.
After visiting with Lily and family Toby and I drove to Bowling Green. Toby flew in from Lubbock, TX because Sunday afternoon he receive word that his best friend was killed in a car crash Sunday afternoon. This is one of the saddest situations I believe my little brother has ever experienced, he's having a difficult time right now, and rightly so. My heart absolutely breaks for him and for his friend's family - his friend was so young, only 18, just started living his life. Toby will be a pallbearer at his friend's funeral on Thursday. I'm so thankful I can be here with Toby during this time and help support him.
Toby has some really great friend's in Lubbock, that have been so good to him and understanding during this loss -=thank you. You know who you are.
Last night I couldn't help but think about Lily and the loss of Toby's friend. GODives us life, we need to live it to the best of our ability, always putting GOD first because we aren't promised another minute. Are we prepared for Christ to return? Have we been wrapped up in our own lives that we haven't taken the time to step back and realize we have fellow Christians around us hurting... needing support, and prayers? Are we so busy in our lives that we only pray during the bad times, or do we rejoice with those that rejoice and pray for the happiness and well being that others are receiving?
Let us always be prepared to meet Christ when he returns.
Mom called and told me about Toby's friend. Every situation/person is different so we never completely know what someone is going through but I partly understand his pain. I am praying for Toby and for his friend's other loved ones.
Oh, that is cool enjoy your time. Are you talking about the flags that are sticky on one side and not on the other? I need to see what other ppl split thier categories up into, I went to the store with mine last night did pretty well but had to fish some.
So sorry about Toby's friend. Glad you could meet Lily. Maybe we'll get to meet her at lectures some year. Bet she's a petite little thing like Kaelyn.
Actually that's a very interesting story. . .everything went great except for one particular individual. . .I'll have to tell you about it soon! I'm so sorry for Toby, let him know I'm praying for him!
Is your Walgreen's prescription coupon just for transferred prescriptions, or new ones, too? I've got one for transferred ones, but they didn't let me use it on a new one...
Oooh, now that's gaming the system! Is there a piece of paper or anything I need to bring to Walgreen's when I "transfer" it, or do I just say "I want to transfer a prescription from Kroger?"
The longer the better on my question of the baseball card system. I need to work on it. The dividers and such I am not sure I get it--what dividers do you use?
Please continue to keep her and her family in your prayers. They are going through a difficult time currently and need the strength that God can provide to keep pressing forward.
We do not always understand why God allows difficult things to happen to us and those we love BUT we do know God has a plan and purpose for each one of us and we must always continue to look to Him in the Good times and the Bad times.
