My sweet little Eden has developed a rather unusual quirk when she eats. For some reason after I give her a bite she grabs her chest. It is soooo funny to watch and a little painful! I not sure when she started it or why she does it but it is hilarious.
Here is a video of her doing it. She had been doing it after every bite I gave her, but of course it took us a little while to remember to grab the camera so she was getting pretty full and didn't do it as often...but you'll get the idea....Notice how red her chest is.
I'm somewhat trying to keep it on the down low. I'm not much for attention and theres somewhat of a select group I want to be there although I won't have a bouncer at the door ;)
hehe...yes the goatee definitely adds a few years to his face :) I really like it, personally ;) he went for a while without shaving at all so I got a little preview of the "top half" but I think I like it better without :)
I agree :) and this video is absolutely adorable! I can't believe how much she has grown in the last year! Hopefully I will get to come visit again this Christmas!
We're doing good. Laura is still dealing with several health issues, and these issues take up a lot of our energy and time. I would say other than those problems, we're pretty content with our lives right now.
All day long I have read and heard different people suggest that we are far worse off today than we were yesterday and that tomorrow will only get worse…and I will admit that those thoughts have entered my mind as well. As human beings I think it is natural to have those types of thoughts and an attitude of woe is me. BUT, as Christians, children of our CREATOR Most High we are told to have a much different attitude.
Our Father tells His children in Deut 6:13...”you shall fear only the Lord your God and you shall worship Him and swear by his name.”
I believe that we as humans have a tendency to “worship” fear….and that is a great tool to the devil. Fear is paralyzing and consuming…but Our Father tell us in Isaiah 41:10...”Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
But Obama is President you may say. Christians are doomed. King David says to that statement:
Psalms 27:1: “The Lord is my light and my salvation: Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?
I have heard Christians say that this Obama administration will do this horrible thing and that horrible thing and because of him our nation and our religion is in jeopardy. But James says in James 4:14-16...”Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, ‘if the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.’ But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.”
And then Jesus tells us in Matt 6:34...”So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
So for those of us (and yes, I’m speaking to myself) who are concerned and even fearful about what the next few years may hold……Deut 4:39.…Moses said…”Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.”
