And yes, I do need one, but our carseat is so much bigger and I've heard that a lot of those covers won't fit. I thought about just buying some fleece and waterproof fabric, and sewing one.
aww! They're both growing so fast! I like the kids with the white behind them and the blue in their clothes. Caleb looks ornery in the one hehe:-) and just too cute!
If it's yucky tomorrow and you don't feel like going out, please don't feel obligated. We would love to do lunch but it's ok to postpone too. Just let me know!
Oh good! I'm so glad to hear here's better. Hopefully the doctor's can bring you some semi-good news (at least that it was nothing too serious, you know?)
Oops! Yeah I was talking to you...I thought I put that on your blog not mine :o) That's what happens when I try and do more then one thing at time. See you Tuesday!
Eric is now home from the hospital. He's to continue on an antibiotic and other medication for now. Not all test results have come back yet, so we're still waiting to hear what exactly caused this infection and whether or not it's acute or something chronic that he's developed. Thank you all for the prayers. Please continue to pray that he continues to recover and regain his strength.
I read the following quote while we were at the hospital - "What God leads me to, God will lead me through." It was really stuck with me. Just thought I'd share.
Eric is in the hospital. We're not completely sure what's wrong, but I do know that he at least has colitis (sp?) - inflammation of the lining of the colon. I'll update later, as I'm able. Please pray.
Don't forget.....YOU NEED TO SLEEP. I will not be giving your children back until you do!!! :)
Really, if you are reading this don't worry about the kids. You need to take care of yourself so you can help care for Eric!!!
Eric's grandmother has improved somewhat; she's been moved to a therapy wing of the hospital, with the eventual intent to move her to a nursing home for additional therapy. Thank you for the prayers!
My grandmother was admitted to the hospital a few days ago for congestive heart failure, fluid on the lungs, an irregular heartbeat, and possibly a blood clot. This is the third year in a row that she's ended up in the hospital around the 1st of November. She ought to hibernate this time of year and see if she can avoid the "tradition" next year. :)
My brother was in a car accident yesterday, but is fine, aside from a little soreness. We're all grateful for that!
Last, but not least, Eric.....Eric has been sick since last Thursday. He'll have spurts where he feels better, but the illness eventually returns. So, last night I took him to Urgent Care and they diagnosed him with gastroenteritis (sp?), possibly from food poisoning. They gave him an antibiotic. He's weak because he hasn't been able to get much food or fluids down for days and has progressively worsened over night. So, we're waiting to see if this morning's dose of medicine helps before deciding whether to take him back. Dehydration worries me and, as I'm sure some of you know, the family just isn't the same when one of its members is sick. So, please keep him in your prayers. He's supposed to preach Sunday night and would be really disappointed if he has to cancel.
