does anyone have good suggestions for relaxation on an airplane. i have a good case of fear of heights.
keep in mind, i've got a lay-over about 3 hours into the trip, so i dont think a KO drug would be the solution.
im really excited i get to see my boyfriend this weekend, but the fear of heights is very real for me so dont try the "there's nothing to worry about" junk, comprende?
oh! and on the election thing... all i have to say, is what ive been saying to everyone the past few days...
"no worries bro"
No drugs. SAy a prayer while taking off. Strike up a conversation with the person next to you. Bring along a good book. Grip the handrails really hard when you are landing because that helps the pilot. Give thanks for a good flight when you are stopped. Rinse, repeat. After awhile, you get burned-out on being scared and quit.
drink cammomile tea...its a natural calmative. chew gum, ipod with good music...if it helps try some classical to relax...or if you want to be distracted listen to something that pumps you up and dance in your seat. lol . if you get easily taken away in a book ...read. pray. do yoga before the flight...hahah i have so many ideas cause im afraid of flying a bit also...ah take drammamine...yea i know its for motion sickness but it will calm you a bit ...that or benadryl.
