Well Andrew turned 10 months yesterday so I guess it's about time we get his 9 Month picture up here!
We took this a few days back to mark this special phase. And special it has been. He is getting more adventuresome in his walking - today he let go of a toy and took a few steps toward the armoire all of his own volition! And the other night...oh about 3:30 in the MORNING... when he woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep despite having a pacifier, a snuggly blanket, and coming into what he thinks of as "his big bed" (read: OUR bed) I just looked at him and said Andrew DAVID Shumake - Sleep! So now that his middle name has been involuntarily summoned in a moment of frustration I feel even more like a dad and even prouder that this little guy is ours to love!
he looks so grown up! (sniff, sniff) wow, it only took 10 months to get the middle name used!yikes, uh oh, on the "his big bed". I wish you the best on that.
hey guys! Missed you sooooo much last night, but really thought it was great that you took the time to send us the video message. Tell Andrew that if he is so hungry for candy that he is willing to eat the paint, that uncle Adam will be happy to fill him up.
He's been walking along holding our fingers for awhile now, but this afternoon, he walked right out of Phillip's arms and took a few steps to me! It was very exciting! It may still be a few days or weeks before he makes it a regular habit b/c he was stumbly, but our little man is officially walking :)
Not already!!! Wow... time flies doesn't it. That boy just skipped crawling. I have heard of babies that do that, but haven't ever known one! Yeah!!! Way to go big guy! Love you!
Yay. Nathan took his first steps by himself yesterday, too. I have been soooo ready for him to walk. I thought he would be an early walker, but no such luck here. Get your running shoes out!
If anyone wants some super cheap steak burgers, check this out. I just did it and it worked- $1.98 for 5.5lbs of burger!
Okay, first go to here and just sign up with any valid email addy. You don't buy anything or switch insurance. They will send you an email with a gift code. Copy it.
Then go to here and type in your email addy. They will ask you to send the offer of 12 free burgers to friends. Do it if you want, otherwise just keep clicking through until they send you your password and you click through to shop at omaha steaks.
Then put 8 5oz steak burgers in your cart for 12.99. When you checkout it will add 12 more burgers for free. Then apply your gift code that you got from Geico and your total will come up to $1.98.
i would do that but i'd have to give them my real mailing address. one time we ordered gifts to send to someone else and i got so tired of them calling to see if i wanted to reorder! but maybe this way they won't bother you like that. :)
