First of all, yes, "colour" is spelled with that extra 'U' in Canadian, for all my American amigos. I am currently conducting an experiment testing whether I will be taken more seriously as a brunette than I had been as a blonde. The purpose of this experiment is to see if my race tire customers will pay me in a more timely and expedient manner at the track when I am brunette - I am willing to do just about anything (legally and morally sound, that is) to acheive these ends. This study is completely qualitative, relative, and subjective, so I won't be publishing it in any University publications any time soon, but I'll keep you all posted on my observations. It may prove to be a useful tool to those of you who like a change once in a while, and don't mind inflicting some damage on those follicles of yours. And perhaps to those of you blondes (natural or enhanced) who always wondered if the "blondes have more fun" catchphrase held any water.
Just do what I did, get really old and turn grey! And, once again for all our American amigos, grey is spelled with an "e". Of course, mercy constrains us to overlook it when you incorrectly spell it gray ; )
So how was the drive home last night? It was great having you with us yesterday, but next time you have to bring Craig! With love from all the Maddocks'
So, after much persistance from my sister and other Christian friends, I have set up a pleo profile....even though I don't even have time to routinely check my Facebook anymore! First, I'd like to say that after being used to the user-friendliness of Facebook, I'm finding this a bit of a challenge - kind of like being used to Windows as an operating system and then having to switch back to DOS. However, the reason I'm loving this pleo is that there are so many Christians on here - I occasionally run into some issues on Facebook with not very close friends posting things on my Wall that are really not funny or appropriate...I hope this will prove to be a bit better! So, hi everyone! Nice to see you all and to feel like I'm finally at the "cool kids" lunch table!
Glad to see you have joined. I met you at the retreat. I had a great time meeting new people. I want to go back next yr. I want to add you to my friends list.
Hi Robin! Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality last weekend. :) I'm glad I got to spend a little more time getting to know you (and, vicariously, your Sweety). Keep shining!
Robin, Paul Thrower here - welcome to Pleonast! I hate facebook - it's too complicated with too many walls and constant prompts to install extras and send them to everyone; Pleo is great.
Howdy. It was great meeting you at the Womens Renewal Weekend. I'm Darlene Hastings ~ attend Bath Rd with John & Lisa Hains. You are as sweet as your sister Lisa. Your mom did a great job, eh? She was sweet too!
Welcome to Pleo Robin. We are all praying hard for your dad tomorrow! He is one of the finest men I have ever known and I am so honoured to call him friend! Say "Hi" to Craig for me.
