The kitchen is small...but that's okay. What was not okay was the teeny-tiny oompa-loompa sized pantry. I'm not a big person, mind you. But I had to turn sideways to get into the pantry. So I convinced my husband and brother to make me a new pantry. In the kitchen there was a blank wall. On the other side of this blank wall was a hall closet...space going to waste since there was a bigger "under the stairs" closet directly across from it. So I convinced my husband and brother to make me a pantry in this what I considered "wasted space". Yay for more room!!! See below for pictures. I'm so excited!! Before....the blank wall During.... There was a guy in the Cullman area who did "Elvis" concerts whenever he got the chance...This dude was STRANGE!!!!! Whoo..he gave me the creeps. Trees of the South..... I've seen lots of strange things here in the south. Bicycles in trees, a dead pig in the road, men taking showers in spouting roadside fire hydrants. But the trim jobs they give trees that grow too near the power lines are crazy.
