Wow... it's been since February since I've updated! I sorta got sick of the computer for a while because it was so slow, but now the new computer is hard to stay off of!
Since February I... went to ga camp, went to asheville twice, went to TN to see family, met the american idols (david archuleta !), stayed in the executive suite at the renaissance (thanks anecia!), read all the twilight books (can't wait for the movie!), turned seventeen,... well some of that's my summer. I tried to have a relaxing summer at home.
Then i went to falcon days (missed school!) which was so much fun.
Then i had my wisdom teeth cut out,(missed more school!) but it really hurt afterwards,especially since they hadn't come through my gums yet. but all's good now... I had my first steak last night.
Junior year is by far the toughest, but it's a lot better than last year. I'm not looking forward to the SAT/ACT though. I've got a little over three semesters of high school left, which is pretty exciting, but at the same time it's kinda sad.
gtg... maybe it won't take me eight months to get back on again : )
Poor girl, alls you got left is dumb teeth. Good thing the rest of you is so smart and charming. Poor mom and dad, gonna have to chase away the boys with a big stick.
Life here has been busy lately. Except for today. The only day of my life when i don't have any plans. My aunt and two cousins are here and my aunt and my mom have been working like crazy getting the house ready to put on the market, and the realtor's coming tomorrow. Yesterday me and my bro went shopping around fayetteville just to get out of the house (my company wasn't here yet).
FC lectures were pretty great. I didn't get to hear quite as many as i did last year. The Sunday Singin' in the gym was amazing, it seemed to go by so fast.On Monday we went to Busch Gardens with some friends. Besides getting startled by an alligator (crocodile... idk), it was pretty fun. Tuesday we went to the lectures and wind assemble and chorus concert. On Wednesday we went back to Busch Gardens. On Thursday we went to the Lectures, skating party (i won a cool t-shirt from a drawing) and then the jazz and the friend's concert, which was incredible btw. And Friday we went to the beach and i overcame my fear of the ocean water. Then the basketball game... we played kazoos... the team won. yay.
Haha funny stories. Last night my dad took the door knobs off the doors and me and my mom were in my room and i shut the door so i could get dressed. Since the door knob was gone, the door would not open and we could not re-install the door knob with the door closed. It was fun being locked in there, not. Haha and today these door knockin' people cleaned our house. One guy carried a fifty foot ladder all the way around the street, when you can reduce it to like 20. They were very interesting to watch.
hahaha last night it was already announced that there was no school this morning for greenville county kids. i still had school, of course, but we had a two hour delay so we could go outside and play before it melted ;-) although at noon, it's still not showing any signs of melting. it's the dogs' first snow, they love it! the last time was when i turned thirteen, a month before we got them. how does bella like it?
Have fun! Now all you will hear is 'Emily, go pick this up at the store....' or 'Emily, can you take your brother here?'. At first it will be great, then you'll wonder why you wanted your license at all. ;)
yayyy!!!!! i'm happy :-) can't wait to see you! oh i know, i am going to fall on my tail immediately, i told you how i've done everything else idiotic in front of clay, and hey i've fallen in the mud in front of the whole camp, so what's the worst that can happen? we'll have fun. too bad it's a saturday night though and we can't stay up late [even though i'm no night owl]. love youuuuu have a good rest of the week.
