Thanks to all of you for the concern for my health. I am feeling well except for some weakness. The hospital in FT Pierce treated me well and I had a very good Dr. I even got
to wear my new robe, a gift from India.
Grayson & Ryan came down from FC for a visit last weekend and as we were
travelling from Tampa, we saw these interesting rain clouds.
Yes that would have been fun for y'all to be here too! We had a great time and Male performed well, even though they didn't make finals. We had fun with Bruce. Can you believe this is the first time he and Nick have met?
I hoe you are doing well. I have been keeping you in my prayers, but I was glad to hear from Grayson that you are doing better. hopefull will see yall sometime before winter break.
Hi this is Sheila the former 'Jolly' girl. I discovered you on Patsy's list of friends. We just moved from Tampa to Alabama. Would like to hear from you and how you are doing. What brought you to the hospital and all that is going on with the Keys. Write when you can.
saw your new car on bruce's blog, We just recently got a ford fusion, the step up from the focus, we love it, it has all the bells and whistles. The new line of Ford remind me of the foreign cars like Hondas. I never thought I would go back to car because I loved my SUV but auto prices and gas prices really played into by decision. Our car was gently used, a widow traded it in because she always wanted a caddy, it only had 4000 miles on it, so basically it was brand new, but had a used car price!!
Thank you for writing back. I hope you continue to improve. Some of my fondest memories as a child were spent with one of your children. Take care and God bless.
We have had a lot of rain here this past week.
Found a picture I took from the Pier last summer when the water was so low
Now this week we have a lot more water there in the Lake
SANDHILL CRANES
Love to take pictures of the Florida birds. These came to our front
Yard yesterday morning. The most interesting thing about these birds is they mate for life. So if you see one by itself, it likely has lost its mate, I’m told. A group of 3 could be a family. The mother & father both care for their young and stay earthbound until the young learn to fly, as big as they are ,they can’t fly until a certain age.
My son lives in the North Port area. He said you are seeing a lot more wildlife coming out because of the high waters. He said most everything will leave you alone (gaters, wildcats, etc. as long as you leave them alone. They are finding plenty of food without pestering humans.
My older son is the one in FL. David lives with me and/or my daughter. He has been through so much that this year almost got him down. He is getting back on his feet and pressing on. (He was just baptized about 3 weeks ago.)
How wonderful that would be if we could all trek on down to Florida! But if the family continues to scatter like it has, we will have to spend our time finding each other!
Hi! Thanks for the greeting. So glad to see rain down your way. I pray we have some here if just to settle the dust. Hope your weather will improve the fishing in the lake;)
I remember Papaw used to have one of these birds as his "friend." He named him Charlie. After a fishing trip, as he'd troll down the canal, he'd call "Charlie, Charlie." And Charlie would swoop down to Nannie & Papaw's yard and receive the small fish that were too little to clean or he'd wait around for the scraps. Glad y'all made it through the hurricane. I'll pray for your safety as Ike is on his way.
Congratulations to Ken & Norma Weliever for 40 years of marriage!!!

There were many guests, much good food and visiting with many friends. Since Gray is there at FC we
Were able to spend a little time with him and Ryan (cousin) who is also attending FC this year.
Kenny gives Rachel a big hug after she played and sang a song she wrote to her Mom & Dad.
We may not have any choice on the camper. It may not sell and if I can figure out how to get it down to the campsite without Stan driving it we might still camp. :-) I'm glad you could wear the shoes. I'll tell Macon t will tickle her that they are in Florida. Good to see our Grayson even in pictures. I'll be glad when Tues. is over. I hate them but they are a necessary evil aren't they.
I forgot about the thyroid question. I'm hoping that is what is causing part of it. I think the pain pills were affecting it also. Once this week is over maybe I can get on track.
D. is coming and we are going to scrapbook tomorrow and then we will go visiting Friday and do some consignment shopping in Mt. Washington. I have to get my hair cut so we'll be out there all ready.
