I am very excited about the upcoming events for my choir and drum ensamble. We are sending in our tape to sing at the Astros game next year really early so with any amount of luck we will sing next season. Jack (boyfriend) and I are taking my choir to the Renissance Festival to sing and be judged at the end of this month...it's going to be lots of fun we're dressing up like pirates....I hope every one is doing well and wish you all a good night....
I have come home for the summer and I am working at a sweatshop called the print shack...no seriously there is no air conditioning and we often work 11 or 12 hour shifts...our family is about to go on vacation...we are going to Corpus and I am going drift fishing (a first for me)...wish me luck...hope I catch big fish and don't get sick....hope everyone is having a fun filled summer
Give you Mom and Dad a hug for me, I'll pay you back when I see you next time ;-) Have a GREAT summer and remember... No matter where you go... there you are!
Hey, it's HOLLY! and I got some questions for you...What's the difference between a CD & a music Album? and do you know how to write music to lyrics or at least the melody? My health is still up & down but I'm ok. Not looking forward to new medicine if I have to take it. (if you know what I mean...just lots of side effects :( ). The reason I was asking cuz I'd like to learn but still plan to go to Glenda's class :) hope to talk to you later :)
I don't quite have lyrics yet but have had some phrases go in & out of my head. The only bad thing is that when I think about them it's in the middle of the night, LOL! If I do get something down & don't know when I'll give them to you if you could put music to them :) I'll let you know:) okay? love, holly
hi dear i got my humira medicine the other day hope it all works out for me. I give myself shots. I haven't come up with lyrics yet. been feeling kinda blah, you? hope you're doing ok. miss u, have fun at singing school if you're going ;)
I have recently been told that if I don't post regularly I will get a virus, so here ya go...I just got back from a funeral in North Carolina...he was a very great man who will be remembered by many...may we all live in such a way that when we die it can be said by those we leave behind that we were never without a smile, an encouraging word, and a love for God and his people...may the Lord bless you all...
The Lees were members at Stonegate in Port Arthur when I was growing up. Bob was in charge of the songleaders, and he's the one that had me, my brother, and Steve Garrett leading singing on Sunday mornings when we were 11 years old. They used to have the young people over to their house a lot, too. He also owned the bus station in Port Arthur, and was my first "real" employer.
Interesting! I work in a school to and I find it so interesting the way little kids minds think. I have tons of stories. My name is Paula and I connected to your blog through Holly
Oooh, it's almost been a month since your last post. You better hurry up and post something or else you'll get a computer virus. It's a little known clause in the pleonast agreement.
I think we're planning on going to the Singing School but I don't know about my health :/ Please pray for me on better health so that I can go (hopefully). I've had a recently bad weekend & don't know what started it or what's going on ? Hope to ttyl :) holly
