I have been so busy with work and school that I've not had time for pleo. I have to get my mother to help me put up the picture of us four kids and the four dogs in the mini van. I hope to do that soon but first we have a gospel meeting coming up. It's May 16th, 17th, and 18th with Sewell Hall here at Exton.
Friday at 7:30 PM he's speaking on Life's Great Decision
Saturday at 7:30 PM he's speaking on Paul's Thorn In the Flesh
Sunday at 10:00 AM he's speaking on Amnon Had A Friend
Sunday at 11:00 AM he's speaking on What Does God Want From Me?
Sunday at 6:00 PM he's speaking on Charmed
Hey, Connie, so good to hear from you! Glad you're doing well and keeping busy.
I bet you didn't know this, but Sewell Hall delivered the very first gospel meeting I ever attended. (And that, too, was at Exton, when I first became a Christian.) Andrew was at Sewell Hall's Young Men's Leadership Camp last summer, and LOVED it.
I would love to be there for the meeting, but we will be having some Very Special Guests (her family) this weekend. (Plus, wow, who can afford to drive 720 miles one way with these gas prices?! CRAZY!)
Oh my, Connie! You're not gonna believe this! So I was at this girls' camp in IN the week before last and I was talking to this one girl and we were talking about how we had seen each other at HScamp, and then she was like "do you have a sister named Connie?" =)!! Is that not hilarious?
Hi Connie! It was so great to see you on Saturday. Thanks for the welcome. And as to your post, you are always busy and traveling ;). I feel as if any gospel meeting I attend, I wouldn't be surprised to see your family there. Love you.
I've been busy with school and work. It has also been nice working only three times a week for only three hours each day. So I still have time to do all my school work.
We been going to a writing workshop, to help us with writing. The group we do this with is having a day where we can talk about some of the projects we have been doing. The four of us kids decided to talk about The Seeing Eye puppy raising program that we do. We also wanted to have three other dogs in our talk not including our dog. So tomorrow we are going to get the other three dogs before the talk. Were going to have to get four kids and four dogs in our car. I think my mother is going to get a picture.
I've been REALLY busy with school. Well, except for last week when we had spring break. But when it comes to school, one week just isn't enough! Yes! Do post the picture! =D
I recently got a job at a Bowling Alley near us and I started last Saturday. So that's exciting.
Then for the last month or so we have been taking lessons on how to play Volleyball better. After the first day of lessons the lady in change came to me and said that she had plans for me. Then last week she had me and another boy practice with the Volleyball Team. Of course I had no idea what I was doing but I had fun meeting some of the other kids on the team.
Winter Camp was amazing we studied prayer. I learned so much and am very blessed to be able to go. I also got to see friends again and make more friends.
Then this weekend on Saturday we are going to a 90 minture lesson on the whole Bible. Then we are going to my grandmoms for the rest of the day. Then Sunday between services we are going to have some friends over from New York. So that will be fun.
And I thought of some other things to say be I can't think of them right now. So they are going to have to wait.
Have a wonderful weekend.
It was so nice seeing you at the winter camp, Connie. Every time I see you you are more grown up and mature and I'm really impressed by everything about you. I too learned a lot, and it's really helped me in spending more time in prayer.
I have had a good year so far. We had a New Years Eve party and had about 15 people from church over for it. Then they all left before 11 O'Clock. A little after midnight our friends who were in Arizona called to wish us a Happy New Year, so about two in the morning we called them to wish them a Happy New Year.
I finally got to see Miss Potter and I thought it was good.
Then I recently read Rilla of Ingleside by L. M. Montgomery. It's a good book that takes placed during War World 1. It's about Anne Shirley youngest daughter and it is so sad that Walter dies.
Then this Weekend I'm going to a Winter Camp in NJ and we're going to study the Bible most the of weekend. I hope to see some of you then.
Miss Potter is one of the best movies I've seen for years. It spurred me on to do a little research about her. It seems in her later life she was rathered wearied by her fame as an author and didn't much enjoy talking about her books -- she was much more interested in what she was doing to preserve farmland in England.
Hey! I'm doing pretty good. Of Course I started school...urg..and that pretty much been dominating my life over the past few weeks.=( It's a sad, sad way to live isn't it? Jk!
