Sisters are wonderful for that sort of thing. :-D I can't tell you the number of times that someone has told me they liked something I was wearing, and I've had to say "Ah, that's my sister's."
I've been meaning to do one of the soundtrack to my life things for a couple weeks now. I fill them out for fun all the time, but just haven't posted one.
sweetness! :) We don't have TV guardian though sadly... we might get cable soon though! i'm hopeful! I LOOOOVE watching baseball! Football is WAY easier to understand when it's live. I have trouble making out what's happening when I'm watching it on TV. Sports are cool. :)
That was hilarious. I oughta do mine again sometime soon. (BTW I loved 'Thunder. It must be the Cullens! Not to mention I llllooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove that song)
We finally watched the first three Indiana Jones movies. I really think I like The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull best. Out of all of them, I mean. Probably because it's more recent. Although it's depressing how old everyone got. Mostly Harrison Ford. Since we watched Star Wars extremely often when we were younger. I'll always think of him as Han Solo. So that makes it even MORE depressing. *scowls at screen*
Anyhoo, I really hate that Indy didn't just stay with Marian from the first one. I don't like the other two girls. Ugh. They were annoying. Which makes me like The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull even better! (you know, because of the ending)
My favorite part in the first one was when Marian and that other guy were drinking and...wait...I'd better explain all this. My favorite part was not that they were drinking, it was what Marian did that was so funny. So, as I was saying, she was pretending to be drunk (she's really good at that, by the way), and she grabs the knife and points it at the other guy. And he just bursts out laughing. I was in tears, although it wasn't that funny...*lol* It was pretty late though, I was kinda slaphappy. *grins*
Yeah, the last one was the best to me too. I watched that one in the theatre when it came out ^^ The others were...I guess not as capturing to me :P The movie being more recent is probably one factor why I like it more :P
I could rant forever about how much I dislike Star Wars, but basically I think they're cheap bad fantasy that was poorly written. :)
Glad you like the pictures.
Oh hey, did you know that Warner Bros released a new trailer for HP5 exclusively (for a week, anyway) to fan sites? I think it was just released today, but not quite sure.
Um...I don't really have a fav character. At least not in the older ones. For the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I'd say probably the character Shia Laboeuf played. (lol forgot the name of the character, been too long ago)
haha, I totally didn't like the second one. It was way weird. :P but the others weren't so bad. And yeah, that is sO messed up that he has a different girl in the movies. :( boo!
as to your below post - no, I really don't like that movie (but I love the original three)...but what I really liked was your allusion to today's political climate with your quote from Padme. Very astute, I thought. :-)
I can't remember Harrison Ford's real name half the time - he's definitely Hans Solo to me. Didn't Marian already play that trick in an earlier movie? I agree with you about her. I definitely didn't like the ditzy frou-frou blonde from the second movie. I can't remember the girl in the third movie.
I have a renewed hatred for this movie. Argh. It's rather infuriating...we watched it yesterday, and I absolutely can't stand it when Padme tells Anakin that he's breaking her heart. *sniff* It's horribly sad...
She is always asking "does he die?" and I'll say "yes" than she says "who kills him?" and I say "Anakin". Now if she asks, the answer is always "Anakin kills everyone, remember?"
A quote that I really like from that movie is from Padme. "So this is how liberty ends. With thunderous applause." It's really an amazing quote, don't you agree? And quite fitting for...*mum glares at me*...ehehehe.
Well, goodbye. And may the Force be with you. *wink*
That is a awesome movie... The old star wars stories (Knights of the Old Republic) are still cooler. Darth Revan and Darth Malak are better than Emperor...
We watched the Kit Kittridge (sp?) movie a week early. *lol* It wasn't supposed to be on the shelves until like yesterday. Isn't that amazing?
We were in line for the whole voting thingum for about 2 hours and 45 minutes. It. Was. Lame. The first soda machine that we found was out of order (no surprise there), and the second only had Dr. Pepper. Thankfully that's my favorite soda!! I drank it in about... *lol* five minutes. *grins sheepishly* It was hot out, what can I say? At least it wasn't raining...that would have been horrible...
Well, daddo said that grandpa had gone to vote early before he went golfing, and there was no one there. So he called grandma, my aunt, uncle, and cousins and they went and voted. Grrrrr....and we had to wait sooooooo long. They live in Tampa, Florida, btw.
So, last night we watched Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, I kinda like that movie. I can't comment on it because I can't spell any of the names except Anakin. And I HATE Anakin.
Well, that's pretty much all I have to say! So, bye!
Grammar books give the rules, I don't think they're supposed to have a comprehensive list of all the words that fall under said rules. Y'all is just a useful word-- who wants to say "your guys's food" or "you guys" when you can just say "y'all's food" or "y'all."
I found that written in my mathbook! It was hilarious, I was just cracking up, so were my sisters when I showed them! It was so funny! And the person named Jill Crocker (apparently, since it's written all over the mathbook) also wrote stuff like "I hate math" and "I love Jake". It was classic, and of course I'm not going to erase it. So when we sell the mathbook other people can get a laugh while they are bored to tears as well.
So, we watched Indiana Jones: The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Tuesday night, and I ADORED it! Other than the part where...never mind. Lol. Anyhoo, we are probably going to watch Journey to the Center of the Earth in a little bit. I can't wait! It's got Brendan Fraser, who will be Mo in Inkheart!
What are you listening to right now? As in what music (if any) are you listening to. I'm listening to Born For This by Paramore. Love that song. ^_^
The Indiana Jones movie was cool. My family and I watched it in the theatres when it came out. It was pretty enjoyable :P Have fun watching Journey to the Center of the Earth. Watched that too with my bro and dad.
The Life of Pi is about a boy from India who is traveling to America but the boat sinks and he gets stuck on a life boat with a tiger. It's a whole adventure about his survival on this life boat with a live tiger, both surviving until they reach land. I thought it was a really good adventure book, different than most other books I've read.
I guess a good way to describe it would be miracles. ;) I'm only about halfway through, and it's taking me a while (In general, if it's not a story, I don't read it very fast.) but it's basically a logical arguement for why miracles are real, and aren't really contrary to nature. I probably didn't say that too well. :P But it is very well done, at least thus far. =)
