First off I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and enjoyed their families, friends and good food. We started our day off a little early at 4:30 this morning my poor Kaitlin woke up vomiting and now she is running a fever this afternoon. So it's been a really long day and I am pretty tired. Just put Kaitlin to bed she was really tired also from running a fever. I hope she wakes up tomorrow feeling better. I felt so bad that she has not had a good day.
Well Mike and I are sitting here listening to the news announcing that Obama is Presendent Elect. We are kind of surprised that McCain lost. All we can do is pray and hope that he does what is right.
Well I hope everyone has voted early if not tomorrow is the big day....Mike and I both voted early so we wouldn't have to mess with the crowds tomorrow.
And is anyone else getting tired of the phone calls about getting out to vote I have had 3 already this morning and it's only 10:47....I am ready for the calls to stop.
So get out and vote tomorrow if you haven't already.......
Wishing we would have early voted... But I like to take the boys so they can see the process. I just need to get there in the midday when it will hopefully not be *too* busy.
Well we had a great weekend full of Halloween Parties...We had one Friday night that was for Adults only and it turned out to be really fun. Everyone dressed up had good food, a scavenger hunt that was a blast and lots of laughs.. Saturday night was the annual kids Halloween party that was really fun also so all in all we had some fun this weekend.
I was really happy to wake up to a cool morning today and tomorrow it is supposed to be in the 40's in the morning so I can harldy wait. It finally feels like fall....
Well have to run and get Kaitlin fed so she can get to soccer practice on time...
Luckily with my education and library backgroud I read a lot of children and young adult literature. It's easier for me to watch what Reagan read. It's hard to find appropriate books for kids who read so above their age. Emmy has a problem with that too.
Well it's been a busy week already and it will keep going. Oh Well we do it to ourselves...
I got the blood work back from the doctor, everything came back normal so I am now going to a bone and joing doctor and they will probably send me for an MRI to make sure that I do not have any pinched nerves or herniated (sp) disks in my back. So I am still have alot of man in my hands especially my left so I will just keep waiting to see what they say.
Anyway Kailtin got elected to student council last week as President so she was really excited. We are so proud of her she wrote her own speech and did her own posters. And if I say so myself she did a really good job.
Well I am starting to feel the holiday shopping bug get to me, is anyone else feeling it yet? I need to get out and start shopping so I can be done before Kailtin gets out of school for the holidays so we can just play and have fun.
Well as always I hope everyone is having a great week....
