I can't believe it! you updated! ;p We are all doing pretty good right now. School is...school. (I can't usually apply resoundingly glorious praises to this time of year, since it interferes with my life so much. ha ha!) just kidding. But, it's going ok so far. How about you and yours?
So many things have, are and will be happening.
Mike had eye surgery(again) last Wed., he has to keep his head completely down at ALL times(except when he puts in his drops and he can sleep only on his right side)until he goes to see the Dr. Thurs. Please pray this works and there won't be complications.
Anna left for band camp after worship today, it is in Tenn. about 2 1/2 hours away. Please pray she will be safe, there are lots of good chaparones but...it's not like DOV camp.
My sister Lisa is having major surgery tomorrow, please pray that all goes well for her.
Lastly, please pray I have the strength and endurance to make it through this week being there for everyone else.
Why did he have to have surgery again? My 2 little boys will be gone today through Thursday with my parents, they will be at Julie's. The boys haven't gotten to do anything at all this summer, and the rest of the kids have each gone somewhere for at least a week or weekend away. I haven't gone anywhere, either, but that's another matter. Hope you have a good week, and I hope Lisa will be ok.
I've just decided to make things better, that I can control. I have always had to control so many things around me, and while I still have to be in control of a lot, there is a whole lot I will never be able to do anything about on my own, so when I let go of that, I began to somewhat breathe again.
hey back! We're all doing well. How 'bout ya'll? Wes only has two more meetings this year--one in West Virginia and the other in Florida. He did have one in Tenn. earlier this year--just south of Nashville, I think. I appreciate you wanting to show support for him by attending his meetings--that's so sweet.
I LOVE teaching that age, I always opted for that one at E'side...right now I'm teaching 4-6 grades, actually it's made up of 5th and 6th graders at the moment.
HEY! I'll check with Erin tomorrow when she gets back from babysitting to see what day she can come swim, unless you want them to come separately. Will H. is spending the night with us tonight and I don't know what time he will be leaving Monday so I will call you unless you have a specific day/time in mind. CALL ME! ha ha! (I'm only assuming that's what you wanted me to call you about, though.)
My kids are free tomorrow if you think that would work out (Erin doesn't babysit either). Not trying to invite them, but I know we had tried to work it out earlier. Just let me know.
