I suppose folks were starting to wonder how I have been so active on pleonast recently if the internet was still not working. It has been back up for a while...I just felt like writing on places other than my blog. :D
Whats goin on maaaaaaaaaaaan it's been a while, its Paul Konrad, anyway, I dunno if you heard or not but I'm married with a kid on the way, crazy huh... whats good with you
Well, the wife and I are going home to see the folks for a few days so I will most likely be away from pleonast for a week or so. It will be nice to have a vacation...besides getting married I have not had any extended time off since I moved to Oregon in 2006 and began working with the Canby church. Not that I have suffered or anything...everybody knows that preachers only work two days out of the week anyway. :D
That last comment was just a joke...I actually hate to leave my outside Bible classes. We have several regular studies going during the week but I suppose things will have to go on without me for a bit.
This will be Sandra's first time to visit WV...and it is a good time of the year. It should be nice.
I sure hope its nice where you all are going cause its really really hot down here. ':( I didn't know you got married??? sorry, but nobody tells me eneything, lol I'm glad your happy. done eney fishing lately?
that was our plan all along :)....actually they fell from a tree and didn't have a mommy..I just found out today that my parent's let them go in the woods, makes me sad :(
Yes, I have read those books. Actually, my Dad read them to us when we were kids. That way he got to censor Harriett's colorful language. Are you back in Canby?
Adam, I don't know if you read my comment to you about "now" not being in the Greek, I checked and was mistaken. "de" is there too, but "nun" for "now" is there as well. Sorry.
You are right about the way I take verse 13, though.
I knew my receding hair line was getting worse but this caught me by surprise. I don't know what happened over the winter but I didn't have this problem as recently as last summer.
No more outside funerals for me (except for when they're outside).
Ouch! Abe(age 4) burned his tongue the other day and stopped him just in time as he was about to apply aloe gel to his tongue! yuck. And look at it this way... you probably won't be sunburned in that place again- at least not this summer. You got it over with!
Hey, right now the price is $50 but I am willing to break it into payments. If someone sends me $15 to start that will pay for supplies that I need. And I will ship the dragon after I receive the money. Know anyone that might be interested?
Our spring meeting here in Canby is progressing well. Last night especially, we had a good attendance from neighboring congregations as well as visitors from the community. Very encouraging.
I would have thought that after almost two years of listening to me every Sunday the brethren in Canby would have jumped at the opportunity to have somebody else do our meeting, if for no other reason than to hear someone new...but they still seem to tolerate and even enjoy listening to my lessons for some reason. They must have the patience of Job.
We are having a cold snap this weekend. They are projecting more snow in the mountians, even possibly down into the foothills. Hardly typical April weather when the flowers are covered with snow.
Yeah, the technology is pretty incredible. We're hoping its nothing (it could go either way at this point), but even if there is a problem, we're thankful it is relatively minor.
