although his company has been "busy" lately so, he still needs prayers...
So, my only experience with children is baby- sitting,but some days my cats remind me of toddlers...they get into everything when you aren't paying attention...and they create commotion at the worst times...even so I think if they were toddlers at least we would both be speaking the same language...eventually
And when all is said and done it is only 4 years anyway...besides some days I wonder if Ophra has more pull then the President anyway

All I can think is the end must be near...how else could a nation elect someone who was brought up to hate the very place that gave him the ability to become the next president and as for our freedoms when it comes to religion...it is only a matter of time...this is not doom and gloom, just mere reality
I comes down to what decision is the best one even if I don't agree 100%...it is better then not voting at all...I think God wants to use us as tools and I prayed about it...and I don't think it is "time for a change" to the religion of Muslim...
So, pray for our nation as always because the number of foolish men is grater then the those that are wise...
Just last Sunday evening a member of our church family committed suicide due apparently to some medications he was on that made him "not himself"...I don't know the family well, but he was a part of the congregation for many years and it came as a shock to all...He leaves behind a wife and at least one son (that I know of) in his 20's...The family name is Alfrey (pronounced Al-free)...I'm sure prayers would be welcomed...
Also my Mom told me on Saturday evening that Callie's husband's infantry was hit with shrapnel and she wasn't told if Matt was hit or not...Just that 4 guys from the group were...So please pray for them as well...
I was thinking if anyone was interested...You could adopt Matt and have your very own army ranger :)...Thought it might be fun idea for anyone with kids...He loves um...Plus any positive support he could get would help...His sisters seem supportive, but his parents are another story...In my mind it has to be tough enough to do what he does and then to do it without family support...I can't imagine...Just let me know, drop me an email because I can't list his information on here and if you want to send "care packages" I have to let you know what is and isn't allowed...
Thanks Ashley and I think Joellen...So, this is supposed to be things ppl don't necessarily know about me...But I am unsure I am that mysterious...
1) I love to clean the house...it gives me a sense of accomplishment...plus whoever enjoys living in filth?...I am sure I inherited this trait from living with my grandparents for year way back when...I say this because growing up I remember her making comments about "knick knacks" being "dust catchers" and looking at decorative items and saying "how would you clean that?"...
2) Seeing road kill upsets me...Not so much opossums and armadillo, but since I have moved here I see a lot of Bambi and raccoon...My husband would say that the latter is a rodent, but they look similar to one of my cats so...And I do eat deer meat, but I don't have to see the dead deer while I'm eating it...
3) I wanted to have children, then I got married and found out having a grown child is maybe a big enough responsibility... ;)
Not very nice...But maybe a mysterious secret? Some ppl don't change from how they are raised...
4) I've trained my cats like dogs...They play fetch, chew paper, play with trash* (the only cat toys they will pick over trash are those little mice filled with catnip), sleep in a kennel at night, go for car rides/trips...(*straws, straw paper, tea bag wrappers, lids, pull tabs from under half/half lids, small/large boxes, paper and plastic bags, butter tubs from McDonald's,Q-tips,toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls...)
5)Breakfast is my least favorite meal of the day...
6) I prefer tea over coffee...Any kind of herb tea, green, twig, and earl gray...Of course some days you can talk me into a steamy cup of chai, a Caribou mocha, or a Starbucks chocolate chip mint mocha frappuccino...Even a cup of Dunkin Doughnuts decaf with half/half and some unbleached sugar will do...
7) I believe in Eastern medicine over Western...
8)I use Yoga to overcome my most challenging commandment..."Love your neighbor as yourself"...I have been known to say some ppl are a waste of oxygen...and I know that isn't very Christ like...Just for some reason lazy and or ignorant ppl irritate me...However I am working to learn to accept ppl where they are and encourage growth...Guess that means that "old age" has turned me into a pessimist and I'm working toward the optimist of my youth :)

You are refreshingly honest! Sometimes the tendency to dance around the truth and cover it up with phrases that undo what you are trying to say really get on my nerves. But then again, I do not want to be unkind. Anywho, thanks for the honesty and the interesting info ;-)
