I also have a Failbook again since Amanda wanted to be able to change her relationship status and link my name.
In the realm of other lesser news Amanda and I are going to be able to go to her parents house for Thanksgiving. I'm skipping one of my classes to leave early, which is ok because USF doesn't do double cuts for holidays (because its a real school :P).
Also, I've been working at Restoration Hardware for the last few weeks (unfortunately only once or twice a week though). They DO NOT sell hardware like drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc. The hardware they sell is faucets, shower heads, towel bars, coat hooks, cabinet knobs, handles, mail boxes, and much much more! They also sell stuff like furniture, drapes, bedding, towels, and other stuff like that.
Other major news, I probably won't be returning to school next semester since I can't really afford it. So right now I'm evaluating my options. Particularly suicide. I'm also considering joining the military, going pro in golf, and maybe cage fighting. If the PGA doesn't work out I might consider caddying, I'm really good at fixing divots.
They charge us double sick or personal days if we take off the day before or after a holiday here in the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District. I guess I must not teach in a real school district.
And, in case you didn't get my text:
How dare you ask my banquet date to marry you without telling me! :)
I don't think the being engaged, considering suicide, and hating everyone exactly goes together... Amanda may want to rethink her answer, at least until a hospital is able to stabilize your un-FC-educated brain.
Hey, Kevin! I'm Em's younger sister, Rebekah! Congratulations on the very important agreement you and Amanda came to! ;-) May God bless you on this upcoming journey! =)
Heh. Yes, instruments in general are cool. I'm thinking, whenever I manage to get employed, I'm going to save up and buy some bagpipes. I'd really like to learn to play them. From what what I've heard (Both of them being played, and what people have said about them.) they sound like rather interesting instruments with some very unusual qualities. =)
Yes, they are fascinating. Mr. Smith, the preacher who came for our last meeting, has played them for i think it may have been 30 or more years. He said that a lot of people who've learned a lot of music (Such as play other instruments or have music degrees and such things.) have trouble learning the bagpipes, because of things like not being able to do rests, and not being able to play two of the same note in a row. And not being able to change volume. And only having a one octave range.
It will definitely be a long while though, since I'm definitely going to have to save up to get some. Mr. Smith said a good set costs probably about $2000. =P
That is a little better than plain, but no where close to having them with garlic salt. Now if you combined the two, it might be decent, but I still don't know that I'd like it as much as the simple single seasoning type. =)
I could, but that would be a lot of effort, since that would require shifting the entire duet to a different key. and I'm not completely sure what that might do to the feel of the song. But I may have to try it, if we're going to get Andrew in on it. =P
Okay, that will help a whole lot, if I don't have to transpose the entire duet and everything. Thanks! =) (I guess perhaps that's one disadvantage to being almost completely self taught. You don't learn things like that. =P)
Okay, yes, I guess you weren't clear enough then. =) As long as I can hit the note, it would be far easier to whistle, since it is only one note, if I recall correctly. =P 'Twould be very enjoyable if you could join us. The rouble is, I have no clue when we'll be able to do it ourselves, much less getting you there (Where ever that may be.) at the same time. Especially since, to my knowledge, you know the other people. =)
I'm thinking I might just do it in the normal key, and then hopely by the time we can actually get together and play, Andrew will have gotten around to getting a flute. =P That would be easier for me (Since I haven't really practiced changing keys before, so it would take a lot of thought for me.), and then I won't have to try to make new she music, since I've already sent the piano sheet music to Rebecca. And also, whenever Andrew gets a flute, we will have it in the normal key, since a flute is a lot more suited to the song in the first place. =) By the way. I was trying to recall, but I wasn't sure, so I thought I'd inquire. What instrument(s) did you play?
This is Amanda and it's beyond time for Kevin to update his pleonast so I'm doing it for him.
Since his last update, sometime in July, he has settled into his new apartment in Riverchase with Jonathan and Alex. Currently he is still searching for a job but has an interview this Friday - hopefully that will result in a long-desired job. School at usf is going well for him - he switched his major to criminology and is taking four classes. Kevin's parents and dog Poco arrive Thursday to bring his new car down from Ohio and to surprise his grandma for her birthday.
Kevin hopes all his pleonast friends have a terrible day.
So happy for the update, "Kevin!!" I'll pray for your interview. I hope your grandmother isn't reading Pleonast! (You never know about grandmothers these days....)
Whoa, you totally made random appearence on my blog! how happy for me! thanks for the scripture, that was really helpful! well, i'd send my best wishes with hopes that your summer is going well, but i already know that it is! :)
Enjoyed visiting with you and Amanda last night. Hope I get to see you both in Plant City some time soon! Let me know when you want to ride along with Darren! :)
