YAY!!!! I love a day when you never leave the house. I stayed in bed til 10 today!!! I wasn't asleep the whole time because my internal clock woke me up at 5:30...then the dog woke me up again at 6:30 and my cute little boy woke me up at 8:00 to tell me he had been up already for five hours and was hungry. So I just napped a little here and there. It was sooooo nice. I have taken a shower, and every now and then I clean something. I dusted so now I am taking a break. ;) I love a day like today...no where to go...no specific thing to be done (I have lots to do but no deadline). These days are very rare, usually only one or two a year, but oh how I love them!
The job is in Southlake and I am not sure where I will be living but I would love to come and see you.....and I guess I might talk to Greg if he just so happens to be around haha!
My favorite days are similar to yours, but they include rain, old movies, pajamas all day, fire in the fireplace, fresh baked brownies and Ellen right next to me enjoying it as well!
"Gray skies are going to clear up. Put on a happy face......Spread sunshine all over the place and put on a haaaaaapppppppy face!!! " How's that for my singing on blogs! :)
i got this sond stuck in my head and its sooooooooo annoying! its a really old song. its called "chase". i learned it in music. dun da drun dundundun da dun. UGH!
"If the skies above you are gray, you are feeling so blue, if your cares and burdens seem great all the whole day thru, there's a silver lining that shines in the heavenly land, look by faith and see it my friend, trust in His promises grand"
Today is a sad day. My friend is hurting and I am hurting. My friend's heart is broken and my heart is broken. Today is sad. One selfish person can hurt so many hearts. How do they do that? How do they stand and walk each day? How do they brush their hair in the morning in the mirror?? I pray my heavenly Father will heal all my friends' hearts. I pray He will put His mighty hand over them and cover them warmly in the difficult days to come. I pray He will quiet the ache for them. Today is a sad day.
I really like my new job as computer lab manager at the elementary school until THEY come to see me at 1:55. Kindergarten makes me feel mean because I have to say, "please put your hand down" "listen while I'm talking..." I can't listen to all their cute little stories about their puppy or their sister. I can barely get a word in edgewise. How come they don't want to know about Acceptable Use Policies?? It's funny how you forget how little your own kid knew at that age and then to think about how much more they know in such a short time. Kindergarten teachers are very special people....especially the first week of school. Thank a kindergarten teacher next time you get the chance.
Ooohh Angie... what a photo over there on the left. Does he see your blog?? I'm betting not. In that case, "SOOOOOO very sweeet!" I'm in such a nostalgic, "homesick" kind of a mood tonight, only one up with only the sound of the raindrops to keep me company. Oh.. and all those piles. You know, piles of stuff waiting to be done. Hm. think I'll leave it all and go to bed thinking of all my far away friends, big and small. Miss you.
I understand completly, hang in there, they can only get bigger and listen better. Do you have help?? Does the teacher stay with her class?? Next week is only 4 days!!!
I'm still thinking. However I will tell you that I put a sticker on the left side of the mouse so that my kids will know which side to push. Another thing we have done in the computer room is put velcro on the top of the computers. Then we velcro a small square that is red on one side and green on the other side. If the kids don't need you they keep it on green. If they do need you then they turn it to red. This works great for all age levels. It keeps the kids from getting out of their seats and lets you know quickly by scanning the room who needs help.
