I can choose either a 3 month program or a 6 month progam. If I were to choose the 6 month program they'd give me a 6 month work visa after I graduated from that program, resulting in my living there for one full year!....whoa!
But this opportunity will only be a "thing that I had a chance to do this one time" IF I can't find any churches there. If anyone knows of a congregation in Switzerland, let me know!
Congrats Holly!! I hope you are able to go that will be a great opportunity for you!!! Keep us posted about it! If you go do you know when you would be going??
Last week, I had three mid-terms. One was on sanitation which I'm not too confident about because there were 6-7 questions on a video that I missed one morning because......long story. The other two exams were actual culinary exams one was a practical and the other was a written exam. On the practical exam I got 192 points out of 200 and the only reason i didn't get 200 points was because I flipped my cutting board...apparently that's unsanitary.....musta been in that video that I missed. As for the other exams, I don't know what I scored.
Well, I better get going i have yet another test tomorrow and I just got in from working my mini externship at the bakery downtown. Whew! GOODNIGHT!!
I saw one episode of the Thursday Night Update thing, and Kenan was cracking me up! So, random question, how did you do your make-up for that old people party back in the day? I'm terrible at that stuff!
Holly, this is uncle Mitch. Please email me (ASAP) the model of your Toshiba laptop. I have someone who could repair the laptop for just the cost of the screen. Email at mitch dot flynhawaiian at gmail dot com
My schedule for the school year.

M-F work from 1 pm - 7pm

blah..it's only day two and I already feel spent
(oh and just in case you were wondering how I was able to post this at the time that it says; it's because today I don't have to go to work until 4..by chance.)
Not a whole lot I started classes yesterday and already today we learned how to make veal stock and...made some. pretty simple we start on soups and sauces tomorrow.
Next Saturday I have to do my mini externship project. For every quarter we have to work outside of the school and of our regular jobs, mine is to work at a wedding at the Donnelly House in Birmingham...I'm excited.
Well, I'm gonna go home and change and then head off to work...(I'm starting to get weird looks from people and it's kinda....weird)
Have a good day!!
