Yes you saw correctly, I am engaged!!! :-D It happened not this past Thursday, but the previous Thursday. John took me to Starbucks after my final as just a special thing that we do some months around the day we started to date. That particular Starbucks is about to be one of the ones that is about to close as well and since it is actually where it all started he wanted to make it more special. As far as the day we are considering May of next year because it is the longest break in between our school semesters. More to come when I know more. Love you guys!

Well, I just thought I would update ya’ll on what all has been going on with my life. As far as school it is going well. Passed my classes and still trying to get into my school of choice so nothing really has changed with that. The summer semester is going to be starting June 6th and I will be taking that Law for Health Professionals over again, but this time I am taking the in class not the online.
Work is going alright as well. I am approaching my one year in August. It is amazing how fast a year has gone by! The six month evaluation went as well as was expected. There were some things I could improve on which I am doing to go towards my year evaluation. They all still like me though.
John and I are still growing more and more in love each day. I would have never thought I would have found someone to care about as much as I do him. He just brightens up my day each time I talk to him and see him. I have also become very close with his family especially his mom. Talking about how time flies it doesn’t even feel like it has been six months since we started dating! We went to the Talladega race a couple of weeks ago which was his birthday gift and it was also his first time. We did the Motorsports Hall of Fame Saturday and the race Sunday. It was so funny to watch his expressions as we entered the city off of the interstate. The next weekend we did the Crawfish Boil which was my birthday gift and was also my first time. He got us VIP tickets so we were able to have more advantages than the general admission ticket holders which was nice. That is where we were at in the picture. Both weekends were fun and we both had a good time. He has also been coming to church with me since December and in February we started studying with Alex. From doing so well with the studies and learning so much he decided to be baptized this past Sunday, but not yesterday. This makes me extremely happy and I love him even more.
Well I just thought that I would update ya’ll on everything, but I’ll try not to be so long next time.

All these times that you were just sitting back watching everyone else in relationships and you never experianced that but you didn't give up and look what happened!!! I Thank God everyday for people like you!!! I'll pray for you guys and your future!!! peace!!! Well, the semester is finally over! WOW! I can't believe that I just finished my first semester while working and actually passed! Yes, I did say I finally passed my Accounting class....lol! The third chapter test went well and I made another 77. Two weeks later which was this past Thursday night we had our final. I made a 63, yuck I know, but of course it was a doozy (lol). I have passed the class with a C, but what stinks is the fact that I lost my B by just 3 points! UGH! Oh well, the B wouldn't have helped my GPA anyways. I decided to check and found that out later.
The Accounting class also did something else for me while I was in it and if I didn't have to take it again this time this wouldn't have happened. Well, this semester I met a guy. His name is John and he is just a year younger than me. He is such a great guy. Everything went great and we hit it off well. Went to Starbucks a couple of times after class just to talk and took it slow. Then, we went on a couple of dates and just hung out at his place (finally met the parents...lol...me to his and he to mine...each one likes the other) For about a month now me, Michelle, finally has a boyfriend! LOL! I just can't believe it! This is so awesome! He even came to church with me last Sunday and liked it so he is going to come back again sometime. I am having a blast and loving it! John even went to my first Christmas party for work and we both had fun. Everything was so pretty! No pictures except for one, but even it was not at the place. Should be posting it as my picture sometime in the near future.
Work is going great as well. I have just another month and a half almost until my probation period ends. YES!!! I will be so happy when February 7th finally gets here! I still love the job and having a blast! Another good thing about the job is that it has helped me lose the much need weight that I have been needing to lose. In just two months I lost 12 pounds, but have lost about 15-17 pounds total in the past 7 months. I have just been watching what I eat and how much. All the walking that I do helps as well. So, from a year I am now back down to where I was after having the pneumonia last winter and having to take the steroids to get over it.
