Lauren has tagged us to list 8 blessings... a encouraging twist to the original listing 8 facts. I'm not quite as eloquent as I would like, but here I go:

1. My immediate family. They have encouraged me to make some much needed changes in my life. They are one of the main reasons that I'm in Texas.

2. My extended family. Th ey have been very encouraging, and have allowed me to live with them. Some even went to Alabama with me to get my stuff!

3. My job. I love my co-workers and my job. It has definitely been an answer to many prayers.

4. My friends. Both old friends and new friends have been a huge blessing! Thanks to those who have known me so well for so long, and continue to be there for me. I look forward to getting to know all of the new friends, too. (There are WAY too many to link here!)

5. Church. I have been very uplifted since I moved down here. It's always a blessing to be surrounded by so many spiritually minded people. I have already been learning/being reminded of some good stuff in the classes and sermons. Thanks to all of the people that put so much effort in being prepared, and have encouraged the rest of us to do the same!

6. My Bible. I have been turning to my Bible more often lately, than I have in several years. It is such a comfort, and it's able to encourage me, cheer me up, teach me, and remind me of how I need to be focusing on things above. Random fact: I currently own at least 10 Bibles. :)

7. I'm out of time... I've got to babysit. I'll come back and fill this one in later.

8. God. Most importantly, God, who has seen me through my up's and down's, and is always there for me. What better friend and Father?

sarai	We are doing good! Trying to buy a house. So far so good. Got a contract on one. Just a matter of waiting to see if they will actually loan us the money with all this stuff going on lately with the economy. WE definitly need to catch up soon. Call me anytime

I went to Twin City on Sunday but might go to Benchly on Wed...depends on my sis Vicki & Tim. They are supposed to come to CS on Wed, stay the night, & then they will be taking me back with me them to kemp. I'll be in Dallas on Friday with sister Lauri, meet up again with Laura on Sat & then I fly out from Houston on Sunday....so hopefully I can see you Wed. Love ya!

Time for a new post

I got tired of scrolling through the pictures... as much as I love looking at them.

I'm officially a Texan... again. I am enjoying being in Texas. I knew that I missed being here, but it took coming back to stay to make me realize just how much I really missed being here.

I just got back from visiting my grandparents in Lindale this afternoon. It's nice to be close enough to go for the weekend! Grandma is finishing radiation this week. She is doing great! Grandpa is having carpal tunnel surgery on Tuesday, so please keep him in your prayers.

I'm getting the rest of my stuff from Alabama on Labor Day weekend. Other than this, there isn't too much going on. Hope y'all have a good week. :)


crumpledart	So now where are you? I know you aren't in Lindale but I can't remember where exactly you are.
crumpledart	oh that's right...now is that your cousin that I met...Sharon I think was her name
crumpledart	My cousin and her husband live down there during the school year. He has a job back in Washington for the summer so that live up there in the summer...at least for this summer anyway.
jsco	I had fun at Fuddruckers tonight!
crumpledart	Shannon..that's right! I remember her now. Those were fun times. I found pictures a while back of that trip. She was pictured with the guy that I think is now her husband. :) My cousin's name is Andrea. She's a housewife with two kids....2 year old and a 6 month old( I think). Her husband is Alan. He's a professor at AM. I can't remember what he's doing up there in the summer though. :)

kittyhawk	Does that mean you will NOT be in College Station Labor Day Wk/end? I am flying down there (Houston) on Aug 30th to visit Laura & will be there for a week. I hope to see my sista's!!?
kittyhawk	I will be in College Station 2 Sundays in a row so maybe I will get to see you the following Lord's Day. Hope So!!

crumpledart	I think I was there in 2003...so it has been a while!
crumpledart	yeah...lots has happened since then. But it has been that long! You've gained two sisters and a brother in law during that time. I've gained a nephew and a house.
anutty	Welcome back to Texas and so glad your grandmother is doing so good! Remember, come over sometime. Make sure you look up Chad!
lisakaye	Good to see you, too. Sorry it was so brief. We're looking forward to going to the cancer center on Friday to hear "Mrs. Coco" ring the bell!
