I turned on the Angels/Sox game before Tim got home last night, too! Well, I thought I was turning it on ... it hadn't started quite yet. So, I guess I watched the pre-game show with out my husband. And I was sewing, so I'm still a housewife too!
So far, other than the accents, I'm thinking that Pittsburgh is a lot like Birmingham. It reminds me a lot of Birmingham anyway. Which is a good thing.
I just wish I had a job. I've turned down several offers so far because I'm holding out for a really good job that I can keep for a long time. Call me crazy...Matt does.
All in all, I am feeling so blessed these days. But I wish I could give all of my blessings and happiness to the Bassfords. It just doesn't work like that does it? I trust Him to bless them in His time. That is my daily prayer right now.
I'm enjoying our study of the gospel of John. I've been taking a lot of it to heart recently. I love my husband, my life, and my God. But I know that someday I will lose my husband and my life, and I think I'm okay with that. Because I know that I will never lose my God.
I'm so pleased to hear it's going well! It may be time for a PA roadtrip soon ;) And it's smart to hold out for the really good job, I think you'll get one! And I'll be praying that it happens :)
I'm glad for an update. I have been thinking of y'all as you too have recently relocated far away from where you were (and it seems that you may have been leaving to avoid Lauren . . .).
I love my cat very much. But there are more important things to consider right now. Which is why I've made the difficult decision to maybe not take her with us to Pittsburgh.
She's been my little companion for over a year now, so this is very hard for me. But I think it's for the best. I don't know how well she would handle the move, and they are going to charge us a lot of extra money to have a cat in the apartment we're going to live in.
So basically, I am looking for a good home for my little girl. If you know of anyone in the Tampa area that would love and nurture and take care of Camilla, please let me know. You can give them my email address, katieharb@gmail.com.
If I can't find a good home for her, she's coming with us. But I think her staying in Tampa is for the best. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.
I wish I could :( My Dad despises cats, though - so as well as I would take care of her, something might end up happening to her that would not be pleasant... :/
Awww, I wish I could! I love that name too. Sounds like y'all are about to have some big adventures! Hard to believe it's been so long since I've seen/talked to you. Maybe we can remedy that sometime :)
Maybe Micah will take it. Zeus would LOVE a play mate... as long as she doesn't mind being shaved. ;) I'm sorry. i've been in the middle of somethign EVERY time you've called. I'll try to call you back tonight or tomorrow. I work both tonight and tomorrow though, so we'll see.
What's your email? since you haven't had an FC one I don't know how to forward these Southern Living specials to you... if you're interested.. probably not, but, just let me know if you know anyone who might want them:) Hows search for help with Camilla going? How are you doing? Miss you bunches and wish we could have spent more time together. I enjoyed the short visit we had, and maybe I can make a trip up to PA when ya'll get there??? Love you bunches.
He's pretty much obsessed with volleyball. i don't think it's V-ball so much as he just LOVES coaching. I'm really happy for him. :) I'm sad because I think my moving south has been delayed for another few weeks. :(
The delay is due to lack of funds to pay for an apt. If Micah gets an apt, then I'll move into the house. OR if I get a job, I'll move into an apt. I have several interviews set up for the end of July. One of them is in Jasper for the position of Service Coordinator. That would be a GREAT position for me, if it's a good company. The only problem is the issue with my degree. I explained it to them, though, and they asked me to come in for an interview. Pray for me!!
Oh, so glad she's got a good home. I love gray cats; all our cats have been gray. I talked to Mark about considering taking her in, if she could hitch a ride from Tampa ;>)----Mark will be so happy to hear I won't be bringing the subject up again ;>)
Sniffle. So i guess by now you're in PA? I will be up there beginning this weekend to visit Josh and Jana and Tristan and new baby McKenna. I'm sory about Camilla. Sigh. Call me or I will call soon. Miss you bunches. Love and kisses! xoxo
