So my sister informed me yesterday that I have a habit of wiggling my toes when I take off my shoes. She says it's because I'm taking in all the freedom, and frankly I agree... From now on, shoes are a no go.

We read from 2 Peter 3 tonight and it really stood out. "Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. And count the patience of our Lord as salvation..." It seems I've had trouble keeping the focused diligence Peter asks of me here. Understanding the expanse of God's patience is impossible. We need to all appreciate it and strive each day to be fully His servants, giving our all to try and show ourselves blameless.
It's interesting that Peter uses the description "without spot or blemish," tying the whole idea to the sacrificial lamb, as of Christ. The former Jews especially would've understood this terminology, as their sacrifices were required to be of the same high quality and standard. 1 Cor. 5:7 says, "Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast - as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed."
Christ gave His life so that we might also be cleansed and become as He is: without blemish and without spot. God has patience with us every day: let's not take it for granted.

Life is changing and I think I like it.
"So may the sunrise bring hope where it once was forgotten
Sons are like birds, flying upward over the mountain" - Iron & Wine
Hey Jordan, the next time you're the song leader, you should sing Master The Tempest is Raging =) Yay, I love that song. Oh, maybe I should throw in a "please" :p
I always use the garlic dip. :)P That's ok about the email, no rush. I looked at some photos of Pekignese dogs; not bad. I think they look cuter with shorter hair.
yep i rode that lasy year for the first time....wow i pretty much closed my eyes then when we got to the top i opened my eyes...wow that was scary. you should of seen how scared i was :)
So, I was just thinking that maybe you should send us all a little post from that newly re-furbished laptop of yours. ;) Haha, I'm just messing with ya, Jordan.
Haha, I knew that song sounded familiar. I had just heard it last weekend at our school play. Ben Montgomery sang it...he didn't do it justice (to say the least) lol, but it was a great play. INdeed, it was from the 80's, hence the play was called, "Back To the 80's" lol
2. I got to fly out with the Pride of West Virginia to the Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix, AZ, watch the game at the stadium where the Super Bowl took place, I was filmed jumping up and down on national television after a Mountaineer touchdown, the Mountaineers won the game with an interim head coach, and then the pilot of our plane home went off course so we could see Morgantown from the sky. He did a 180 so the other side of the enormous Boeing 767 could see it, too. Here's a boatload of pictures, and an amazing movie clip of us flying over Morgantown.
4. I built a website for Alan Williamson (the preacher at Glen Oaks) which is just a place to find a chart or two and to learn a bit more about evangelism. It also is the home for info about the lectureship Alan is holding this November concerning work overseas to spread the gospel. Check it out! I think it's pretty spiffy myself. :-)
5. I turned 19 on the 20th, last Wednesday. My last year of teenageness... hard to believe. In Morgantown all the people that go to the Monday night study surprised me with cake and presents, and then last weekend I went home to celebrate with my family. Megan Ferry was able to come down, too, and we all had a really fun weekend together. She showed me her camera and I was so amazed with it that I'm getting the exact same one (copycat? perhaps...).
6. If all goes as planned, I'll be spending my Spring Break at FC just to visit and have a fun week with my cousin and others that I haven't ever had a chance to meet because my parents wanted to shelter us and not send us to camp. ;-) (just kidding, dad.. don't send back the camera!) I'm going to probably fly down there, so I'll have to work out the details within the next few days. Florida, here I come!
EDIT: So it seems maybe this won't work out like I'd hoped. Hannah is unable to come with, now, so I can't drive, and if I were to buy a plane ticket, round trip would be over $300. Looks this trip might be indefinitely postponed..

So many other good things... I'll probably remember something else and add it later. But for now, I'm updated out. Have a good one
Hey awesome pics bro! Yeah I'm pretty sure u told me that and it was good to see you there as well. Nice site btw. Alan was the guy that got my dad to go to romania. Keep up the good work bro!
Honestly I didn't think I'd be back either. But, I felt like venting I guess. j/k ;) Congrats on finishing your first semester! That is really great. Just wait till you finish one more, then you can say a whole year. :D
I definatly did! By the way, your brother and sister are staying at our house on Saturday night after TBS since your parents are going away for so long.It is gonna be fun :)
Yay!! I am really excited to see you soon! And I am not so sure that my piano skill have imporved any, infact they may have gotten a little worse in terms of my actually being able to read music and such. But rest assured, you will be able to hear me as much as you want in about two weeks. Love you! Give me a call when you get a chance!
I took a random trip down to FC last semester. It was pretty fun! Round trip was about the same for me, but it was fun to do something spontaneous like that
so... I am in Phoenix, AZ with the Pride of West Virginia. Today is the Fiesta Bowl. Two minutes of our pregame and halftime shows are going to be televised on Fox. O_O
I would post pictures, but I forgot my cam cord...so they must wait till another day!
We're about to leave for our early morning practice before we drive around everywhere playing at mini-bands before the game! Wish me luck!
Thanks again for covering those songs for me tonight...Some of the girls requested that we do some singing at the end of each class and I like the idea, so we'll probably continue with that. If you want to keep helping with them, that's great, but you don't have to if you don't want to. Thanx!
I shall interweave my friend...But i'm pretty sure tahat whatever i sayy he'll still let me come. He actualy REALLY needs me this year... because half of the crrew is leaving this year..
