Anna Grace had her check up yesterday. She received a clean bill of health. She had also put back on the pound she had lost. It is so great knowing that she is doing fine now!! Thank you all for your prayers.
Here are a few pictures from Halloween. Anna Grace was too sick to go out but she dressed up and helped pass out candy. She loved being a kitty. She walked around for days saying "meow".
I miss you guys so much too! I'm having a blast here in Tally hanging out with my friend. I'm staying with the Nerlands tomorrow night after the game. I'll be at Centerville Sunday, so that's pretty exciting. Give that sweet baby a hug and kiss from me!!! I'm delivering Jillian's baby gift tomorrow...she's 36 weeks!
Anna Grace went for her appointment today. The Dr. said that although the pneumonia was still there, her lungs sounded a little clearer. Her ears also looked a little better but still have a ways to go before they are well. Your prayers are greatly appreciated. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.
yay for clearer lungs, but yikes about still having a ways to go. Bless her heart. How is she feeling? You know how kids can be really sick but not act it?
We are back in Tennessee. We were told to follow up with Anna Grace's doctor in a week. Anna Grace has still been pretty sick. Runny, nose, fever, cough, etc. After a series of x-rays and blood work, the doctor said she has bilateral ear infections and pneumonia in the left lung. He was able to give her a shot of antibiotics and sent us home with antibiotics for her to take. He said he hopes this will work and that she should start getting better. If she is any worse on Wednesday when we go back, he will have to admit her to the hospital again. Please continue to pray for her. It is so hard to watch your little one suffer and be so sick!
Bless her heart - I was hoping she was well on her way to regaining her health. I hope and pray she'll show tremendous improvement and not end up in the hospital again.
We have been at my parents house in Florida since the 14th. It had been a great visit until Monday night. At about 10:30 Anna Grace woke up in respiratory distress. She had been fine, no signs that anything was wrong. When she woke up she was gasping for air. Steven and I grabbed her and headed for the hospital. He drove like 105 mph. The whole time I held my baby who was beginning to turn purple and was fighting for every breath. We arrived at the hospital they started her immediately on breathing treatments and administered epinephrine to open her wind pipe. After hours of repeated breathing treatments they transferred her by ambulance to a childrens hospital in Pensacola. Our prayers were answered when she started breathing easier around 7:00 Tuesday morning. They diagnosed her with a severe, sudden onset, case of croup. We were released Tuesday evening. She is still sick with a pretty nasty cold. We are just grateful she is doing better now. This is the first time she's been sick other than a mild case of Rosella. Please keep her in your prayers.
Oh no, how awful! I'm so glad that she is okay now. That must've been so scary. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Poor little Anna Grace. I'll pray that she continues to feel better.
Helen - that is so scary - thankfully you were able to get her to the hospital and treatment started. Yikes! Hope she's feeling better each day - I will pray for her. And thank goodness you were with your parents so you have some extra support!
Oh that is horrible! The thoughts of it make me sick to my stomach. I am so glad that you were close to the hospital. We will keep you in our prayers. Being a parent is not only the happiest experience of your life, but it can be the scariest too.
Anna Grace has been taking step for months, but wouldn't take more than 3 or 4 at a time. Last week she decided she was going to really start walking. Of course she wasn't doing her best when I got the camera out. Please forgive my video skills. It gets a little shaky at the end of the first video. The second video is of Anna Grace laughing at Joshua acting silly. She just adores him. He didn't want me to video him, he didn't want evidence of him acting silly.
she's so cute! I love how easy it is to post video so we can see her! Love that dress, too. As much as I love my boys, I sure hope I have some granddaughters!
