Well thats a year of my life I will never forget. Even tho im still 19, and its technically still this year, I think I can safely say in advance that when I turn 20, I wont forget 19. Btw, 20 sounds really old. I am dumbstruck just imagining all the sweet things I will be able to do once I am 20. Ok not really. but 20 does sound old.
Well, I am in La Fontaine, Indiana. Thats new. I officially live in the boondocks.
I am a Hoosier. Even tho, at heart I always have been.
I am a Sophomore in college. Finished my first year at FC less than a week ago. Lot of things to say. Basically Tremendous. Best year of my life.
I am up way too late. So lets blog about it. Yay. That will waste more time.
I miss my friends from Minnesota.
I miss my friends from Florida College.
This is an open invite to any of my friends. Fort Wiley will be open all summer. Schedule appts. now to come see me.
I shot at some geese today in my yard. But I think its illegal.
I rode the grizzly sunday night, and climbed a tree.
I did a massive cannonball into our lake monday morning. Best way to get up ever. Beats coffee any day.
I am going to start working for my parents tomorrow. First order of business is fully detail all of the cars.
My summer is starting and I hope it doesn't go by too fast.
I feel like it will. I hope I am disciplined. Lazyness is not acceptable. This summer is the summer of lists.
This is the most random post I have ever made in my life.
If you read it, you deserve a nickel and a pat on the back, maybe even a high five. If you post and tell me how obnoxious I am...then you get a pound. oh yeah.
This one is a freebie--5 favorite bands right now: Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guster, Coldplay, Creed...haha jk. tossup btw Maroon 5 & David Gray.
Top 5 memories of FC--(fyi, list is imcomplete)

-Honorary mention: Suite nights/frisbee
Next fall is exciting, but I think I can wait. Im gonna have some fun this summer at home. I think my parents are excited to see me. They have already totally analyzed and digested my yearbook completely. If you want any updates or juicy first year details from me...you can go to them as a source. They probably know more than I do.
Honestly, I cant complain about anything in life right now. My motto this summer, however cheezy it is: Don't be bored, Serve the Lord.
Congrats on finishing your first year! Your summers will continue to get busier and crazier from here on out, so enjoy this one. Great motto.....mind if I use it too??!
I like your motto! I need to put that up all over my house because I'm already bored. I'm going to be planning a trip to Fort Wiley sometime soon, Lord Willing!
haha that was an amazing post. insightful at least. i hope we're going to get to come see you soon--i miss you a whole lot and it seems like we are just waiting for you to come home...
Dude man. What a year it was indeed. I'm glad my cheesy motto made it onto your blog... what an honor. May God bless your summer and your efforts in His kingdom! Legends!
It is Tuesday, December 11, approx. 11:42:57 p.m. central time in Eden Prairie, MN. I am listening to Christmas music in my room of 15 years for one of the last times tonight. I am looking around at bare walls, no furniture, and the awesome air mattress I am about to sleep on. This day came a lot faster than I imagined.
Florida College Fall Semester 2007 just ended and I just got back to Minneapolis tonight. The school year so far has been awesome. I love it down in Florida. I had so much fun, it almost went by too fast. Tomorrow I will catch up on must needed sleep, get ready to move, spend time with some friends, and go to church at night. Thursday, mi madre y padre y I will head out most likely at 4:00 am sharp (just like always), to journey to our new home in Indiana.
The past 6 months of my life have been the best and craziest ever. I graduated high school, Luke and Megan got married, Nate came home from Iraq, I went to Israel, I went to FC this fall, My parents sold their home in Eden Prairie, MN, and now we are moving to LaFountaine, Indiana, just to name a few.
I am excited and anxious about celebrating the holidays in a new home. We have a lot of good memories here. But the part I like the most about the holidays is being with family. And we will still be able to do that, as well as celebrate with extended family in Indiana. Some family traditions will discontinue, some will change, and some will stay the same.
All in all, change is good, we are blessed, and I thank my God our creator for everything. I am going to have a splendid winter break and I wish a holly jolly Christmas for everyone out there. Tis the season.
Jackson, you are so cute. We are very much looking forward to your move to Indiana. Hope all goes well with the move, and we will look forward to seeing you soon. :)
Jets, I'm going to miss you and your family. But I am excited that you're going to have such a great place to be and get to be around extended family. I'm excited to see you tonight. : )
I hope that you know who I am, but if not ask Cameron or Caroline. I am glad that FC is going so well. They were just here and Cari showed me some pictures of you! Happy Holidays!
In the next few days I will be getting organized and packing up my belongings as I leave the Land of 10,000 Lakes, AKA Minnesoooota, for the hot and humid Florida. It is starting to dawn on me that I will be a college student soon, and how much more awesome I am than everyone still in high school. Jk. I have already had to say goodbye to a lot of friends that I will miss over the next few months. Especially, Cody he is like my main man. I always thot we were the same age and together for everything but its weird to say goodbye to him while he still has a year left of high school.
I still have a lot to do before I leave for FL on Monday with my big bro Nate. I know we are going to have a lot of fun on the way down. Everyone beware. In about a week, the whole Wiley Clan will be in the Sunshine State. So ya'll know its gonna be craazy. I am excited.
So I am gonna be in college. By the way, FC has a sweet Cross Country team. Just to let you know. And everyone should go to all their meets and superfan it. like crazy. I better see you cheering... Side Note: If anyone has a couch, tv or mini fridge that they dont want anymore and wants to be really nice to me. Let me know, as of now my dorm room is lacking in that department. So thats whatsup yall. I am looking forward to seeing a lot of old friends and meeting new ones.
This is a very exciting time for you. I am sooo glad you chose FC. That is crazy that you all will be in FL. Will you be arriving in LA on Mon? and when will you be taking off again?
I hope you love your F.C. days as much as I did!! Good stuff!! Be safe:) Take care of Cameron and Caroline for us!! We are really gonna miss them here:(
Hello. This is Sharon Foster. I want you to keep an eye out for a friend of mine who will be at FC this year. She is a new Christian (1 year) and excited about the "family" she has in Christians all over. Let her know, if you should meet, that you know Randy and me. You can also find her here.
jtw, I miss you a whole lot. Being at church is really weird now without all of you. Mostly just because we don't have the F4 anymore. I hope you're having a good time.
mom told me you might be coming over this weekend? hey...did you join a society this week? thanks for lifting holy hands...e'en if i didn't get the answer I wanted!
Hey Jackson, just to give you an update EP beat Minnetonka 25-0 in football on Friday night. This might be the only time in my life that I was rooting for EP.
Well i cant really explain how busy this summer has been for our family. But is has been craaazy. A quick rundown.
1. Sgt. Nate Wiley is home. and safe. Hallelujah.
2. Megs dun got murried.
3. My friends and I ended our 2.5 week pilgrimmage to the holy land of Israel. yo. It was bomb-diggity. And we lifted holy hands.
I would encourage everyone one to visit Isreal. I have a much better appreciation and understanding of our history and God's history with the Israelites. Im still trying to digest it all, but it was awesome.
4. Apparently im going to FC soon. :) Im still trying to figure out how i graduated high school.
5. My 'rents are moving to Indiana sometime this fall. Its crazy up in herre'.
So thats whatsup. I wanted to thank everyone for Nates safe return to the USA and all of your prayers.
Jackson, I am really looking forward to spending some time with you this fall. I'm glad to hear that Israel went well, that Nate is back, and that Megan was not left sobbing at the altar.
