This week starting on Thursday is FC's first Falcon Days for this school year!

I want a complete list of everyone going, so I can keep a close look out for you! Especially you! You know who I am talking about. ;)

1. I am of the Male race.

2. I have a pretty tight whistle.

3. I have a passion to one day be in a worm eating contest. ;) hehe

4. I have never had a girl friend.

5. I love music that people tend to find uninteresting or boring. Not on purpose.

6. I absolutely LOVE spinach pizza.

7. I use Old Spice for cologne.

8. I gotta say... (Confession Time) I enjoy a good Musical/Chick Flick. It has to be good though!

Besides for the fact that I have been sick for the past week I am doing pretty amazing.

I have some of the most amazing friends here at FC, but I can't wait for next year when my best friend and his girly will attend. We will OWN this campus. ;)

Yesterday I went to a surprise birthday party for Grayson. I had my first Starbucks! It was good but I don't know if I will become and addict of the place. I think it would be a cool place to work though!

When we got back I switched cars, and headed over to the Sutherland's for a BBQ. I had a wonderful time there. After that we played capture the flag in their orange grove. That my friends was SO amazing! If I had felt a little better it would have been even better if that's even possible!

Yes ladies and gentleman. FC is only about a month nearly two months in, and I am thoroughly enjoying myself! Now what was it that you said? How long did you say I was going to be here before I was going to start crying for my mommy? ;)

First, I want to apologize for keeping such a negative post up for so long. Second, I haven't forgotten about all of you, scouts honor! I remembered you kinda like God remembered Noah in Gen 8:1. ;) Hehe...

I've just been so busy! Whenever I do have time to get on here, it's normally spent doing my homework...

Boy have I been busy with school! I am so blessed to be at a school where I literally go to church with my professors. Not only am I having a great time, staying busy, getting in trouble(not really), meeting new friends, doing my home work, but I am doing all of this in a Christian environment, and boy ain't it great.

I'm actually having to do homework which I never really had to do in school. It's great!

*negative warning*
In reference to my last negative post... Today right after English, my teacher came up to me and said I had one of the highest grades in the class. I'm like that's great right? She then goes on to tell me how she thinks I'm to smart for her class, and how she doesn't understand was in her class. I didn't say this outloud, but I was like, 'What?!?! Y'all stuck me in this class, and messed up half my other schedule!' *shivers* Oh it made me feel good, and made my blood a-bruin at the same time if that's even possible!

Welps! There is my schedule! Not including accidentals.

I barely touched based on it in the last category, but College Life amazing! It's crazy! I spend my mornings in school, my afternoons hanging out with friends, my nights studying, and my weekends catching up with sleep.

I normally stay up till 4:00am studying, and as you can see on my schedule I have to wake up at like 7:30am. So I live my days off of like anywhere from 3-5 hours of sleep. :P Haha
It's so great though.

I have spent most my Friday nights at Taco Bell having loads of fun conversations with friends.

You wunna know what's fun? One word...

'Scrud'

The other night we got a group of us to go to see The Dark Knight at the iMax theater.

Although it was amazing! It was too action packed to watch that huge. I definitely would not recommend the iMax if it's your first time to watch 'The Dark Knight'. ;)

This weekend I have a choice of two things to do... I can either go to:

A. Rays last home game before they go to playoffs. Against the Twins

or

B. Go to the midnight book opening of Brisingr, with my geeky friends. (BTW I don't use geeky loosely) ;)

Decisions, decisions. Monetary value may have to do something with the decision. Even the the Rays game is like 10 dollars someone said... Oh it's so hard! I am currently trying to find a way to do both! :P Haha

There is a rumor going around saying that we should be moved into Boswell sometime before Falcon Days. Surprisingly me and a bunch of guys in my suite are not looking forward to this. You see in Boswell it will have 4 guys to a suite, unlike in C-Dorm you have 8 guys. This means they are going to have to divide us up, and we have become so close that none of us really want to split up...

Why did I change the color? Because of Psi Beta Babay!!

That's right folks, James Dow is now considered one of the crazy orange people on campus!

I go to my adviser yesterday when I was supposed to! I was a good college student, got there right on the dot! I had my schedule ready in hand, just like he had told me the day before. I get in there, pick apart my schedule a little, work things around. The only thing I forgot on my schedule was science, I had my lab.

I then go to church, just about as happy as a college student can be! Got back to my dorm, sit down at my computer, and start chatting with all my amazing friends that aren't here at FC! Aside from chatting with my friends I was also checking pleo, checking gmail, and checking facebook, trying to check my schedule one last time, trying to check my email one last time. Well everything was checked thoroughly besides my schedule, and email! The server was down, it was trying to require information that wasn't there. Knowing a lot about websites I knew that this is just wasting my time, it doesn't matter how many times I do this as long as it can't find that file, this is a lost cause! So then pack my total of 3 books, (speech, algebra, and biology) and head to bed, after two games of chess with Caleb.

So I wake up this morning at 8:00am on the dot, my first class starts at 8:50am, I'm making great time! I get out of bed, get a shower, get dressed, actually make my bed and clean my room, and I still have like 20 min. left till my first class (speech) starts. So I decide I'll check my email. Now remember I was in a super awesome mood this morning! Well after checking the obvious ones, I try to check my email one more time. (this is where it gets good)

I finally am able to log into my email account, look into the box, and see I have an email from the register center in the administrations office. I look at it, read it, read it again.


...They had changed my WHOLE schedule up. They changed my 12:00 Bible with Thomas Hamilton (which was basically the one class I was trying to get into) to 8:00 am!! 8:00am!! I sat there looking at the email stunned... I had missed my first class, and boy was I angry! I spent so much time last night trying to get a nice little schedule printed out for myself. I worked so hard this morning to wake up, get my room cleaned, and also shower!


But no... None of it matters anymore.

I called the person who emailed me this morning, she said I shouldn't have to take a cut for what happened, but it still agitates me and stresses me...

Welps... I better go get books for my new class before Chapel! Fun...

That's right people, I am back to posting regularly! Assuming my school and my amazing new friends don't overload me. ;)

'School? Friends?' You may be thinking. That's right folks! James D.! is now a freshman in college, at one of the best schools I could ever dream of, Florida College! :D

So no longer will I be posting of my experiences in Huntington Texas with my family, but it will be here in Temple Terrace with my friends, and school.


I just wanted to let y'all know though that I am here, and should be back posting after a long summer break. I was super de duper busy! Sorry! :)

I was awoken this morning by my dad telling me, "Get up, get dressed, your brother Timothy is going to be Baptized." There is no better way to start a morning off then that. I'm so proud of Timothy!
