feeling much better. No one has gotten sick from me yet either!! So glad. Knock on wood! Today me and Emma watched a "scary" movie together on the disney channel. I made her hot chocolate and pop corn. She is obsessed with hot chocolate. She was really into the movie. It's been a good relaxing day so far.
We have not been able to make it out for our 3rd annual trip to sweet berry farm in Marble Falls yet. We usually go and pick out some pumpkins, let Emma (and Ethan this year) get her face painted, ride a horse, eat pumpkin ice cream, etc. But yeah, none of that yet. They have it going on past halloween so if we can Im thinking we just might have to do it after halloween. It's still fall stuff! Tonight we are alteast going to get a pumpkin to carve and toast pumpkin seeds!! Yum. Does anyone else do that? Actually toast the pumpkin seeds and eat them? We always did growing up. I never thought this was odd until I married Jarrod. But we always say we were raised on different planets.:) He loves them now. . Anyways, Im still hoping no one else gets sick since the virus is going around. Hope everyone is well..for now!

Being sick is no fun.....ug....so thankful Jarrod could stay home today. I pretty much slept the whole day today recovering from my evening and night of sickness yesterday. Thanks in advance to my mom for bringing dinner tonight. I dont know how I ended getting this first..but Im scared of what's to come..with 3 kids..I dont want them getting this too..but it seems inevitable! |

Just thought I'd share a few of the more recent pics of Austin. I cant believe he's already 4 months..It seems like Im always talking about time flying but it's just so true. In ways Im glad time goes by as fast as it does but it definitely makes me sad too! I keep telling Jarrod we need to take more video of the kids..Ethan is at that age where all the cute things he does and says are so priceless and we'll never get these day back. Yes, he's a little terror too..& getting extra discipline lately..but he is a sweetie and a goof ball all in one!
Sunday is me and Jarrod's seven year anniversary! Another instance of time going by before you know it. It's been an awsome seven years and at risk of sounding cheesey that's all I'll say!! But yeah..we still have so much to look forward to and Im so happy we found eachother to spend the rest of our lives together.
Today I had to wake Austin up to pick Emma and cousin Alyssa up from preschool. Im getting used to doing this..but still doesn't make it any easier..well, today I walked in his room and he looked sooo cute in his crib. His arms tucked underneath him and his legs perfectly folded together! I couldn't help but take a picture. Poor thing didn't even have his blanky on him but didn't seem to bother him. So..that's the first pic. The second is just a cute picture I got of him for a 4 month snap shot.
That's about all that's going on here. It's been a good/busy week with our gospel meeting. We enjoyed it and are looking forward to the weekend!

Last Saturday was Ethan's birthday party! All the kids had a great time and us adults did too...although I've learned lately that my definition of fun has changed..fun alot of the times is watching my kids have fun! I still cant believe it was even his birthday. Especially since it was his actual birthday on the day of the party. Usually we end up having several different celebrations. This time it came and went so fast! Although tomorrow my mom is having a cookie cake for him along with celebrating my dad's birthday..his was on the 10th. On the 11th my first born niece ASHLEA turned 13! I cannot believe she is a teenager now. Yikes. She has really grown and changed over the years.
Well, that's all the birthday news. One thing I've been doing the last few nights is once the kids are all asleep I head out to starbucks to get me and Jarrod something (pumpkin spice latte to be exact!). Ha! That's our idea of fun right now. :)
Today I took Emma to the Ceramic Cellar. You know where you get to pick a ceramic piece and paint it and then you leave it there for them to put in the kiln and pick it up when its all glazed and stuff. Anyways, it was neat. Emma picked a unicorn and then I got a small tile for her to paint. I just let her pick whatever colors she wanted and paint it how she wanted to. So most all of it turned out swirled together. It'll be cute though. I got a small plate and had her put her hand print in the middle and then I decorated around it. So that'll be a nice keepsake. I dont know that I'll take her too often. It's somewhat pricey and might be better for when she's older. Still nice to get out and have some mom and daughter time..we both enjoyed it!
Here are a few pics of Ethan on his bday!

So far today has been such a good day. The kids actually played outside for a good length of time..I think because it wasn't so blazing hot. It was so cool and we have a nice breeze going on. I am definitely a fall/winter person..Im just in a better mood overall during those months!! I mean it's already getting hot now but this morning was sure nice. The overall feel of this day just seems extra good. I can definitely notice a difference in my days when I spend more time praying. Sometimes I need a reminder that I am not in this alone..we always have God to lean on.
Emma started back at preschool yesterday. She was so excited and had a great day. And I got to have some alone time with Austin. Which was nice..he's such a sweet boy. He has his fussy times but is definitely a sweetie. Mom had Ethan for the day yesterday..as she usually does on Wednesday's. He loves his "Nana days". Well, that's what's going on here..now we are just getting ready for Ethan's 2nd birthday and Austin will be 3 months tomorrow. Crazy.
