I love cold weather. It is so wonderful, reminds me of Indiana. Anyways, just got back from parade practice. I think we are doing well, but Mrs. Oyan doesn't think so. So mom we will have practice Friday. We are going to be in the Ukrops Parade on Saturday. I'm excited. I'm in the last row which isn't bad, it's just the way she placed everybody. She put me next to Tabbitha, which I don't know why because we like to talk and she sees that in class. Atleast she learned not to put me next to Amanda and I'm not going into any detail on that. Libby knows what I mean 8) The whole concert band thing is really new to me. I'm used to playing with all the kids in my grade. Now I'm playing with all the upper class members. It is really cool. There are atleast 30 flutes in the concert band, but when you add wind symphony it's more then that, which is amazing. Can't wait till our concert on the 11th. It is going to be amazing. I have exams the week of the 15. Which means I get out at 11:25 WOOHOO!!!!! The very best part is Christmas is in 4 weeks!!!!

With Thanksgiving coming up it makes me think about what I am thankful for.

I like tend to walk around humming the songs I play in band, dancing to the drumline, conducting while I hum and do the fingerings on my flute. Do I have a problem?????

Last night was the first game in the play-offs aginst Meadowbrooke. The game started off great. We scored 2 touchdowns and kept the game going. Then it came down to 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Meadowbrooke down one and we started getting cocky. "Oh yea we are totally going to beat Meadowbrooke". "No way they can get a touchdown in 2 minutes". Well they didn't get one but two touchdowns. The first touchdown I don't know what they were doing but they weren't stopping the guy he jumped three tackles and he scored. After that some football player from Meadowbrooke like took a Bird player out and either the Principle or a teacher broke it up and the Meadowbrookke player started beating him up. Then all the football players came over and started fighting. It was horrible. People were actually hopping the fence to get in on it. Amanda and I were just standing there in the the stands with our mouths hanging wide open we had never seen anything like it before. They broke up the fight and with 20 seconds left on the clock Bird took the field at the 25 yard line. Whistle blew and the ball went flying through they are into a........... Meadowbrooke players hands and he went running amd scored. We could have won.
