What's really odd is that he gets it this year, when the Cardinals were barely competitive, as opposed to the two years previous, when his impact was probably greater.
Guess even the Max Mercys of the world weren't hypocritical enough to deny him in favor of an overrated big-market player three years in a row.
And, of course, I passed on him in favor of David Ortiz in my fantasy baseball league. :)
And that's why I love my governor: willing to speak the truth even when people don't want to hear it. And why every one of the good old boy network in this state (GOP and Dem) hates his guts.
Sanford/Jindal in 2012 sounds spectacular to me, if elections aren't outlawed by then...
