I love the holidays. For some reason, I've been in the cooking mood. Today I made a German Chocolate Pecan Pie - all from scratch...and it looks so good. I can't wait to try it tomorrow. I also made White Trash and squash casserole and a ton of cookies(store bought only because I couldn't find macadamia nuts!) I found a really good recipe for white chocolate macadamia nut cookies but for some reason Walmart and Target were out. I didn't want to make a special trip to Kroger just for nuts. What is on your menu? Anything special?
Wal-Mart didn't have the sliced almonds that I needed either for my greenbean casserole! Everything on our menu is special since we only eat this wonderful meal once a year...I don't know why though! We should eat turkey & dressing more often during the year! Happy Thanksgiving!

I can't wait to take Emma there!!! So exciting! If Ashley goes to FC, I want to go with Mom to pick her up after her first year. Emma will almost be two then. Still a little early to take her but I will have fun. And she will enjoy most of it. :)
If Jack wants to come the whole day on Tuesday he can. We are going to make turkey cookies. If you just want to send the box of macaroni, I will cook it at lunch time.
Abbey will be turning 5 in a week but we had her birthday party today. She was so cute in her princess dress along with her princess friends. Abbey knew about her party but didn't know that she was going to have a special guest. A ROYAL guest!
Lydia told me about your special guest. I hope you have a video of her arrival. I love the expression on their faces at the door. FUN! They will remember that one forever. The cake is perfect--GOOD JOB!
What a fun party! You did a great job on the cake! I may need your help with Carson's cake in a couple of weeks! The baking is easy, it's the decorating I'm not looking forward to!
