Wow, what a wonderful weekend we have had. But the best part of this weekend is that Seth was baptized on Sunday evening. He is only 9 and so it was a shock. He came to me after the morning services crying and said he needed to be baptized. So Duke and I talked to him all afternoon and he could answer all our questions and really seemed determined to do this. Duke and I were nervous about it. We called our minister and talked to one of the elders and they all felt like Seth was ready and this should be his decision. Anyway, we are so proud of him and I just wanted to share this with you guys.
Well we just returned from the beach. It was wonderful. Duke wasn't able to go with us. I went with my mom and dad and the boys. The boys had a BLAST and, of course, Papa and Gram spoiled them rotten the whole time. I really missed Duke being with us, but it was so nice to have a change of scenery. This weekend coming up we are going away on a marriage retreat. So it will just be Duke and I and no kids the whole weekend. Looking very forward to us getting reconnected. Anyway, hope you are all doing well.
I hope we can fit in a beach trip this summer. Grace loves the beach and Luke has never been. The marriage retreat sounds like fun. I hope you guys have a great time!! Anyone else from SW going?
