Mark 10:27: But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible but not with God; for with God all things are possible."

I love to read the book of James. We read part of it in services tonight. I reread it when I got home tonight.
James 1
2) My Brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
3) knowing the testing of your faith produces patience.
4) But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
5) If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
12) Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
These verses (especially verse 12) remind of the song
Home of the Soul
If for the prize we have striven,
after our labors are o’er
rest to our souls be given
on the eternal shore
Yes, a sweet rest is remaining
for the true children of God
Where there will be no complaining
Never a chast’ning rod
Soon, the bright homeland adorning
We shall behold the glad dawn
Lean on the Lord till the morning
Trust till the night is gone
Chorus:
Home of the soul, Beautiful home
There we shall rest, never to roam,
Free from all care, happy and bright
Jesus is there He is the Light!
Oft, in the storm lonely are we
Sighing for home, longing for Thee
Beautiful home of the ransomed beside the crystal sea.
We all endure trials and temptations. Let’s remember that these trials are temporary and we need to ask God for help. Our home in Heaven will be for an eternity.

I’ve been tagged so here are eight facts about me. So here it goes.
1. I was born in Abilene.
2. I dated Cody for 4 ½ years before we were married. In November we will have been married for seven years.
3. I graduated from SFASU.
4. I taught fourth grade in Dayton for one year (BIG mistake), I then taught in Channelview. The first two years I taught first grade, then I was the reading specialist for two and half years, teaching kindergarten through third grade. (I quit in February of 2007 to move to Katy and be a SAHM).
5. I won the award for being the Rookie Teacher of the Year when I taught in Dayton.
6. I have two year old twins, Blake and Abigail. Their favorite phrase right now is “Mommy, what’s that"? It makes me nutty by the end of the day.
7. I just started doing craft fairs with my s-i-l. I am making hair bows, hair bow holders, purses, and my personal favorite is girl’s bracelets.
8. My favorite place to eat is Casa Ole’. I know how sad is that?
Okay, now you know 8 things about me. I now tag: Danielle, Melissa, Jansi, Lisa, Christy, Rebekah, Kristie and Lindsey.
