Hey Trav! I'm doing pretty good, volleyball is alright district was supposed to start today but obvisously since Ike we didn't have it so it starts next week! How are you doing?
Howdy! Well things have been going pretty well for me lately. and for that, I am very thankful. I have been very busy though, it sometimes seems like ive been on the move for the past four weeks, and let me tell you, things are not going to be slowing down. games are about to start, so that will be very fun and excited, but at the same time very time consuming. I hope everything is going well for all of you at there on pleo. We ought to be thankful that we have such a gadget to stay in touch with one another.
My grandmother has been in the hospital with a broken hip. she had the surgery and is doing well. the reason i am writing this is to talk about her and mr. iverson. They both are very old and in facilities where people have to take care of them. They would have alot to complain about but they dont. here i am talking about being busy, rather i should be thankful that i am young and can handle being busy. Mr. Iverson is just about the most awesome human being there could be, he is always thinking of others, and always talking about scripture. He is not in an environment where being happy and positive is condusive, and yet, he still is.
all of you out there who might read this, keep your head up and always smile, because whatever you are going through, know for sure there is someone else out there going through something far worse.
Not sure if you should be upset with Rugiano for the drop at first or not...considering you picked up another K after that. Look forward to seeing you guys play in person soon.
I really enjoyed the game Friday night. It was great to visit with your parents and get to see you in action. Congrats on the K's and the save. I am coming back Saturday evening and hope to start making more games.
another nice save tonight! I'll be at the games next weekend. Hopefully I'll get there early enough for the Saturday game to tell you and Coach Rob hello.
We were so excited to see your picture on the front of the sports section in the Victoria Advocate. I know your family is very proud of you and so are we.
Hello - I stumbled on your blog....congratulations on the engagement... I was wondering if you're talking about John Iverson? We went to school at A&M & John & Ann were very dear to us...
Well we didnt get to go camping, but we still had fun singing, and hanging out our my house. We probably had about 25 people there singing. It was pretty awesome. Lauren Lehtinen was there, as well as Anna Lee Coffey. It was good to see friends that have moved off. I am sorry to all of those that wanted to go camping, the weather really was helpful. I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend, and be sure to study for finals if you have them.... I have FIVE!!!
yall are so weird ha but it makes me laugh even though i don't get half the things you say. well i know im pretty terrible at updating, but no i have been meaning to talk to you i haven't played halo in a long time/ever ;) um so next time you come bring it or something and your ring hehe. Good luck on your finals turn out good!!
p.s. Tomball is having a little celebration, but not quite like the Tom Tom festival you have in Yoakum, its the 100th birthdy of tomball on Sundayy!! lol :D
Haha thanks, I feel very included. Even though your excuse was fairly lame. Thanks for coming to see me so I didn't have to go out in the cold. Good luck on your test!!
thanks! yeah he had a fun time here. he didnt say anything about the singing though. hopefully once he comes to a&m i'll have some more opportunities to bring him to church and other things. :) thanks for having the singing! i really needed that. :D
I haven't been writing on your page because I have been so sad because I haven't known what we're doing on the 29th. But now that I have figured it out I'm not sad anymore and I can write on your page again. ;)
i have not posted, nor really looked on here in a while, so i felt compeled to write something...
This semester so far has been a rollercoaster ride. Everything has been up and down. Things have been really good or really bad... Does any ever feel this way? anyways... i really cant complain though. I am healthy, have an awesome environment to live and worship in, and have great friends, and family(brandon). baseball has gone well this semester, but now we are only lifting weights cuz we just finished fall ball. school is ok, as long as i keep up my acct. grade. i have an interview tomorrow that i am sorda nervous about, but hopefully i am relaxed, calm, and will do fine. even if things dont go as planned, i need to remember that God's plans for me are far more important than the ones i have for myself.
Don't worry, your interview and test will go great... as long as you quit playing packie man 24/7! ;) But really, don't be nervous about your interview, you already practiced tricky questions. :) I'm thinking about you. Thanks for the update!
There is going to be a Friday night devotion at the Nite's house tomorrow at 7:30. There will be some singing and then a Bible study.
If you do not know how to get there, everyone is more than welcome to meet up at Lacy, Lacey, Lauren, and Jessica's house. We are going to be leaving from there at around 7:10.
I would encourage everyone to come if you are able. This is a great way for us to spend our Friday nights, it is always very uplifting.
hey travis, i just wanted to tell you that you did a great job with the talk last night! what a great 1-2 punch with "the starling brothers"! :) i enjoyed the baseball life applications. keep up the good work!! :)
Hey there. I was SO proud of you Friday night. I probably don't tell y'all enough, but I love you three Starling brothers like you were my own brothers. Y'all each mean so much to me. I'm so thankful to live so close to you and Brandon. :-)
I understand from a post I made on the "Where To Assemble" group that you are from Yoakum. I will be there Monday-Friday for the next two weeks for training with ALCO Stores, going home on the weekends. I am would like to visit with the congregation there on Wednesday nights while I'm there. I'll need a ride to services because I will be coming down with someone else. Could you please e-mail me at samanthajasons02@earthlink.net and I will give you, or someone, my cell phone number so perhaps we can arrange for me to be at Bible Study Wednesday evenings while I'm in Yoakum?
No, working with ALCO in Hamilton, TX. It's a new store here, they sent me to Yoakum for training. Please give your dad my thanks again for picking me up for services and all. It was nice to meet him. I had heard of your grandfather several years ago, and I also had known of bro. Melton at the church there. It was also great to see the Turks again. Thank you so much for your help....
