But if I say, "I will not remember Him or speak anymore in His name" it becomes like a burning fire shut up in my bones and I am weary of holding it in and I cannot endure it. Jer 20:9
Was AWESOME. Good food, good family, and all that jazz.
Accidentally took a side trip to South Carolina... no joke...and a 16 hour trip turned into 21 hours. Also, I found a nail in my tire...I know that the only reason I made it home was God.
Gained 5 pounds, and lost my beard. I'm sure glad no shave November is over.
I got a 95 on a 4 pg paper I wrote in an hour (I meant to take longer on it, but I fell asleep sitting my chair)!
I got to preach in Bradenton (The group was tiny, but really great)!
I have ABSOLUTELY NO classes next Tuesday (Yay for cancellations)!
I recently got an ELO album (Out of the Blue) and a new Rush album (Presto)!
I get Thanksgiving at home next week!
The new Star Trek XI trailer is out (I know, I'm a nerd, but come on, w/ JJ Abrams at the helm I have hope for this one)!
I get to play with kids on a playground today!
I got to see a shuttle launch!
This morning I had the best omlette ever: Bacado (Bacon/Avacado) at First Watch!
I went parasailing 2 weeks ago!
I am going to play with puppies soon!
Gas prices are under $2!
I got chocolate chunk cookies from one of my best friends in the world (All the way from snowy Minnesota)!
And the best news, for all of you who don't know, I guess it's ok to put it on Pleonast now, but I am dating an AMAZING girl! (Ashley Baerlin from Huntsville, AL)!
You are indeed blessed. Where are the puppies? I LOVE puppies! ELO is really cool. Great job on your paper. Some people work well under pressure. Yay for playing with kids and gas prices under $2. I guess I am one of the people who didn't know you are dating anyone. Do you have any pictures of her? I am sooo happy for you both!
Me, too. It just blows my mind as I'm driving back in the quiet after services how abundantly blessed I am. And Eph 3.14-21 just re-emphasizes that to me over and over again.
Today I went Parasailing!!! Plus, I found a beach that is not crowded that is AMAZING (imagine high-pitched angelic voices singing). BTW, did I mention that I was 1200 feet up? Well, I was. Bye.
JJ
P.S. The beach was Madeira beach.
P.S.S. I found a little out of the way ice cream parlor with BOYSENBERRY ICE CREAM!!!
The "cool" thing I did today? Ummm... introduced 16month olds to the concept of eating by themselves with a spoon. What a mess... thank God for bathtubs!
Parasailing?!? wow, I am not so cool with heights, being off the ground only a few inches up makes me shake and tremble. I love riding in roller coasters though cause I'm boxed in and it gives me the illusion of protection.
