Mom and I have been going though the garage unpacking stuff. When we first decided to build a house we knew we would be living in a trailer for awhile, so we put things in storage in the garage. I haven't seen some of stuff in five plus years! A few days ago Mom and I went through baby clothes. We found all kinds of stuff. She gave me some dishes an elderly lady I was close to gave her (she passed away and thought I would like something of hers). We've found my old baby dolls, and the list goes on and on. We don't know what to do with a lot of the stuff because I've out grown them. For now we're planing on a yard sale, but the memories make it hard to sell some stuff.
Because of my bad migraines, Mom and Dad wouldn't let me get a job this summer. To 'make it up' to me, Dad is paying me to sand, prime, and paint the cattle trailer. Its not making up for the job I really want...and was offered...but am not aloud to have. I washed the trailer, and it still stinks!! I think the smell is ingraved in it. I've got to admit it is looking a lot better....
I went to the doctor Wednesday for migraines again. They're very happy with my improvements. I'm getting about one migraine a week now which is a lot better than every day.
Mom's foot is tons better now. She doesn't have to go to the doctor any more just do the exercises. She also has to wear a brace when she's on rough ground, but other than that she can go barefoot again. She's been really happy about that.
Being barefoot is one of the blessings of living in the South. I sometimes pull off my socks and shoes after a long day and tell my toes, "Be free!" They are very happy, I must say.
Glad your migranes are getting under control. I hope soon it drifts to once a month, once a year...etc.
Well, I'm finally a high school graduate!!! I'm loving it. Graduation night was great! I had a migraine by the end of the night, but other than that everything was fine. I didn't trip or anything!!! We waited to have a party the next day (Saturday). It was a lot of fun. We had a cookout, and there was so many people! The hardest part of all of this was saying good-bye to my best friend. She moved two days after we graduated to go to school in Georgia. (I miss her so much!!)
Everything else has been pretty boring compared to that. Just writing tons of thank you cards and taking my time with whatever I have to do.
We're leaving for vacation on Thursday. We'll be going to NC to the mountains. I'm pretty excited about that. The mountains are one of my favorite places ever. We're just going to go and chill out since we can't do a lot...because of my migranies and mom hurt her foot and is in a boot for 3 more weeks (she's already been in it for a month). She was playing soccer with Stacey, some friends, and me. She twisted her ankle and tore or stretched a ligament. She can kind of walk again. I've been doing most all of the cooking and cleaning, so it's been kind of interesting.

I have realized here recently how lucky we really are to be God's people, and what a wonderful Christian family we have. Because of my bad migraines getting worse, I have recently missed a lot of church. It has been killing me on the inside because I have wanted to be there so badly that I've even cried since I felt so badly that I couldn't go. Last night was the first time I was able to go to church in a few weeks. I was so excited. I don't think I quit smiling the whole way down...if you don't know my dad preaches about 45 minuntes south of where we live. When I got there, I started going to everyone and giving them hugs. I have been getting so many cards, calls, e-mails, etc. I knew from all of that that I was loved and many were thinking of me, but it never really hit me until last night when I saw everyone. On the way to church all I could think of was seeing everyone, and how lucky we are to go to church! Many of our friends, and maybe some of our family, don't go to church. It was such an encouragement to finally see everyone again. I don't think I've ever been so happy before!! I think I smiled the whole time I was there, and on the way home. :)
Mrs. Claxton talks about having that problem too. I dont guess you really understand unless you actually have the pain. But I surely hope your migranes are easening up.!:) luv ya lots!!
thats ok. We're kinda busy anyways. and HAH!!! I wish!-when i'm able to drive..maybe we can meet each other places and we can go shopping and just hang out! =D :)
OH!! wow. that was a long time ago. I havent been on here in a while. :) *~*but we really really really enjoyed it..besides it raining and the ground being so wet and muddy...we had a blast!!
I am Glad but i wish it mould clear up all the way!!! I hope we aren't doing anything this summer other than hangin out!!!:-) What are you doing this summer?
We're finally living in the new house (see picture in last weblog). We've all really been enjoying it. There were a couple of minor problems after we moved in...the master shower didn't have hot water and the upstair heat and ac unit broke about a week after we got moved in. The day we moved in we still didn't have water, so to go to the bathroom, brush our teeth, get a glass of water, etc. we had to go to the trailer...this was fixed within a few days. The only thing that's really left to do is finish the trim, hang pictures, and grow grass.
School is going good (we had a flood day today so that makes it even better!!). Only a little over a month and I'll be graduating!!! I can't wait!!
My migraines have got worse. I went to Vanderbilt yesterday. I'll be going back in June...I think.

I'm glad your are enjoying your new home. The fun of new houses is working out the kinks. We are starting Spring Break here and my guys are glad to have a break. Tell your mom hello!

Hope they'll be able to help you and give you something for them. Hope they lighten up for you..or it would be even better if they'd just GO AWAY! =) haha
Hey! It HAS been a while. We've been missing you when we see your seat empty at church, and continue to pray that you'll find some relief soon. We're doing alright. Just keeping the roads hot between our house, Nashville, and Birmingham, trying to keep tabs on our moms.
NO!!!!!!!!!!!! you CANT GRADUATE!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!! How come I'm the baby???? =)). Idk... you'll hardly have time with all your COLLEGE stuff. UGH! lol!!!!
School started back a few weeks ago, and it’s been going just fine. My classes are good. I’m taking housing, drivers ed, library worker, and dual enrollment. It seems like we’ve been getting senior info everyday, or we’ve got a meeting, or something. They’ve changed our graduation date quite a few times now, but the last time they told us they said it wasn’t going to be changed anymore. They said it’ll be Friday, May 23rd at 7 p.m. We were going to graduate a week earlier, but because of some law we can’t. As long as I get out of there, I don’t really care when graduation is…even though it would be nice if it was on the 17th. :)
The house is going great! We’re planning to move in February 15-18 because Mom and I will be out of school. Mom and Dad have had me packing since Christmas, so I’ve got boxes all down the hallway in the trailer. You have to walk a little sideways to make it to my room and the bathroom because of all the boxes. (If you’re wondering why I don’t just put the boxes in my room…I have been. I just don’t have the room for them, and we can’t put boxes, desk, etc. in our rooms until the carpet is down….which is sometime this week I think.) All of the rooms look great…and some of the closets…Mom and Dad put cedar in some of them including mine and Stac’s. We still lack a few things…like drawers and doors on the cabinets, carpet, faucets, doorknobs, etc. Dad said he doesn’t care if we’re sleeping on the floor, we will be moved in on the 15-18. When we moved into our other house, we didn’t have sinks, so we brushed our teeth in the tubs and Mom washed dishes in theirs too. After remembering that, I knew Dad was serious about getting moved in by then.
Between school, starting my first college class, tons of senior stuff, and the house, I’ve been really busy…well we all have. It seems like everyday as soon as Mom gets off work, she goes to work in the new house. Dad works out there during the day when he can, and when Mom gets home. Preaching takes up so much of his time that he hasn’t been able to do near the amount of work he did on the last house. Stac is staying busy with school and who knows what else. It’s hard to keep up with her. :)
If you would, pray for the brethren in Zimbabwe. Their ruler has done some things to the country because they are having elections later this year. He has made it very hard for them to get food and other items.
Well, I guess that’s all for now. Hope everyone is well.
We'll start moving some stuff in tonight. We plan to stay there tonight, as we're gonna go to Birmingham to eat supper with my mom and dad (mom's being tested down there to see if she is a liver transplant candidate. Staying there tonight will save us some driving time.
WOW!!! THE HOUSE LOOKS GREAT!!!! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT!! Souns like are are staying VERY VERY busy.. and I thought i was busy. lol; *~*is that the driveway in the picture?? ..or is that just like a sidewalk?..its gorgeous though!!
We're all LOVING the new house, and its convenience to everything. The transition to living in a more populated area hasn't been too hard. Maybe the fact that we are just down the road from a big cattle farm makes it feel more like home. :)
