dolphin_lover AAAAAHHHH! Oh no! I've been tagged! LOL! Just another way to make me post something! ;) Good move Justin! LOL! :P Just playin'! I will only do the tag if you promise to read it! ;)
dolphin_lover Muchias gracias amigo! :P Now you got me back in a Pleo mood. (I do not know if that is a good thing or not, but I guess I will give Pleo another chance.) How weird!! I never knew Lauren was a Cheetos fanatic!! I am a Cheeto addict except for the "turning your fingers orange" part. Yeah, I know the fork with Cheetos thing might have sounded weird but it does not bother me because with certain things, I am obsessive compulsive and that just happens to be one of them. :) I also have this thing where when I am cooking food after I put one ingredient in it, I HAVE to go wash my hands or else it will drive me C-R-A-Z-Y!!! Wow!! I can not believe you know all these crazy things about me now!
emmyh5Justin!!!!!! I'm excited for you in your new walk in life. Bro. Roberson would be so proud. Tell Lauren I said, "Hi". Maybe I can catch up with you next time I visit at Grandmother's.
mattandrachTag completed... :)
emmyh5It's good to hear from you, too. Grandmother is really just holding her own. She has good days and bad days. Mom and Dad are going to take her home with them when Aunt Joyce has her other cateract surgery in a week or so. It's good to know she has such wonderful neighbors, expecially your Granny.
wvpreacherswifeHey Justin, I hope everything is going good for you and Lauren. She may enjoy reading my blog about being a preachers wife. :) -anna_maria

honourboundI'll be 46 in 5. Happy coming birthday!
rica5219You're getting old! ;0) haha. Hope you and Lauren are doing great! Come visit us!
timthe2lmanHey, I'll be 37 in 8 days.
jshend25? you are not worried about 25 are you?? Happy birthday..
jake28Justin, I saw you added me to your friends list. I don't think I've ever met you. Did you work with Huey Hartsell over the summer? I did a training program at College View in Florence, AL, and preached at Northside in Lexington at least once. Glad your going there to work with Matt.
maucknotCan't blame the spread offense for the loss to LSU, just execution. And what if that spread happens to hang loss #7 in a row on the resurgent Tide? And don't just be concerned about Georgia, my other team, Kentucky, is lurking around the corner.
jake28Hey Justin. I don't remember meeting you, but if it's been 5 years ago, that probably explains why! Yes, I worked with Mark at College View. He's a really good man, and a great preacher. Again, I hope things go well at Northside.

Our New Work Begins 08-26-08 10:09pm CST
After much prayer and thought Lauren and I have decided to begin working with the Northside church of Christ in Lexington Alabama

Matt Oglesbee and I will be sharing the preaching responsiblities in a 2 preacher arrangement.

I can't wait to work with a group by myself, but I am really looking forward to working in a 2 preacher arrangement too for several reasons 1. being able to learn so much from Matt and Haley both spirtually and just being friends, 2. increase my knowledge and experience as a Gospel preacher, 3. being with such a wonderful group of God's people in Lexington with so much potential, 4. and the possibility of working with a congergation this close to home made the choice easy. We love the group there already, and hey they haven't threw tomatoes at me yet while preaching so I guess I'm ok:)

Although we will miss the brethern at Brookhill deeply I thank God for this oppertunity in his service. I also thank God for Lauren who always stands for the truth right beside me and upholds my hands in all aspects of my life.

For about 5 years now I have known my life cannot be complete without preaching God's Word. God has given me so many oppertunities for the past several years to become more experienced and to grow and for that I am so thankful. I feel so blessed to have worked with so many awesome groups of the Lord's people. And I look forward to preaching many more Gospel meetings in the future, and filling in as needed.

This summer alone I was blessed to hold 2 Gospel Meetings, both of which I will never forget. Whether its the faithful truth seeking brethern that visit from other places, or the visitors that come to hear the Gospel, or maybe just the regular members who make me look more forward to heaven every night by thier encourgement and love for God; either way I just thank God for the oppertunity to preach His Word

I feel just like the Apostles of old .....

"These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also."—Acts 17:6.

I'm ready to do the same. God bless you all

maucknotThose ideas were the result of a meeting of preachers several years ago and we were studying the book of Acts. It has really changed my approach to the book. Thanks for your comments.
bamagalintnSo glad to hear the news. Jeff also started in a very similar situation. It made a tremendous influence in his preaching "career". We were blessed in so many ways to be a part of that. I hope and pray you and Lauren too will be blessed abundantly.
p_atrickI'm 15, I live in Madison Indiana and am a member of the North Madison Church of Christ. My hope is to preach the Gospel someday, and to be "approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel" as Paul states.
honourboundFunny you're wanting to have a solo work. After 20+ years of preaching solo I would LOVE a man to work with here in Toronto.
ninja_penguinI am a fan of the two preacher arrangements.
rica5219YAY for you! That's so wonderful!!!! :)
stinssdBrother, two-preacher arrangements are helpful in many ways. But be careful for the development of envy, jealousy. It sneaks up so slickly it's hard to recognize at times. Envy can estrange wives from their husbands, brethren from their brethren, and preachers from one another. Just remember to respect the other preacher's convictions and to not allow disagreements on opinions to come to the lectern or even in your hearts. Okay, this ends this word of encouragement, brother. :-)
