Well, It's getting close to the winter holidays and we're getting snow to go along with the season. I got out to mail Xmas cards and thought I would go to Wal-Mart, but when it seemed like it was getting slick on the road, I decided to go on back home. We have it snuggly warm in the house, so that's where we'll stay for today.
Just got home yesterday from FL where we went for a funeral for one of Pete's nephews. Very sad.
We did get to see lots of family and stopped at James' and saw him and his family in AL on the way home. Got home safely and with no problems on the way. God was watching over us.
How is Pete? How are you? Did you know Cassie, whom we now call Catherine, is on here and is at FC? Craig and I are hoping to get down there this year or next.
We are very encouraged after our visit with the live folks in KC. Dr doesn't feel surgery is necessary at this time. The portal vein is only partially blocked. He is not too old for surgery should it be necessary in the future and he is in pretty good condition. Thank you all for your prayers.
We leave for Kansas City tomorrow. Pete will check into Kansas University Medical Center Liver Transplant Unit to visity with the liver specialists about what to do about the blood clot in the portal vein to his liver. Hopefully, we'll be back home Wed night or sometime Thurs. Please keep us in your prayers.

4. We have 7 grandchildren whom we love very much
5. I used to be a good cook, but don't enjoy it as much anymore. Eating out is nice.

8. Housework isn't one of my favorite things.
You may already know these things about me, but trying to come up with 8 things isn't easy.
yep, that's what you were supposed to do. I'm sure there are lots of people that don't know those things about you, but I knew them all! (I guess I'm just special that way!) (((((hug)))))
Can relate to the cooking - I don't think I cook as well as I used to - eating out is great which we do a lot more than when our children were still at home!
