After a weekend away for the funeral, then coming home on Sunday Night, closing on the house on Tuesday Morning, two runs with a UHaul truck Tuesday afternoon, one more run Wednesday morning before returning it. then services on Wednesday night followed by driving to Rogersville, AL. waking up to go to florence for Thanksgiving at Aunt Joyce's house then back to Rogersville for another meal at Grandmother Robbies. Friday morning is spent driving back home with the kids and a trailer with which we loaded the van and Jeep and traler twice this afternoon. after supper with the Harold and Carol Anne we came back home and unpacked some more. Needless to say I am looking forward to Monday when things may slow down a little once the kids are back in school. It has been a week I will not soon forget.. both tiring and wonderful.

Thursday evening Grandmother Ovie's soul returned to God who gave it.. She is now at rest from her labors. The fruit of her labor will continue to be seen for many years to come.. We are thankful for her faithful service and devotion to God and His will.

Well since about 1 or 2 am this morning, this has been a fun day. getting a little sleep between then and the breakfast cooked with the campfire. sausage, eggs and orange juice. then back home unload and unpack. then the Alabama LSU football game.. overtime is fun if you win..
Then pulling in the driveway and see that Mom and Dad made it safely.
All and all a great day. |
