So I know I haven't posted anything in a while. I got out of school on the 9th of december and with that went my internet use. My monitor at home stopped working and we just now got the whole connection problem fixed, hence the update. So everything is going great. The kids had a wonderful christmas and I am definitely enjoying my time away from school. I finally finished Kaden's treehouse that I started building last May. I still have one more week left to finish house projects that have taken a backseat since I started school. Amber is trying to adjust to me being home so much. In school news I got a 3.39 GPA last semester. Not bad considering I am a 27yo father of 3 small children who lives 45 minutes away from campus. I give Amber all the credit. I hope everyone is doing well and don't expect another update until after Jan 5th.
WOW! That is an amazing GPA! Good for you. Thanks for the update, glad things are going well! Happy New Year! Oh, btw, I emailed Kent last night cause I don't think we ever actually discussed with him whether or not it would be ok if I did societies with you...so hopefully he says it's OK. :)
WOW! Thats really great! Congrats! Hey i was wondering how do the camp conselours put the people in cabins? What is like the age for the senior girls cabin 14 and up? Or do they have to be in igh school or what? Im asking that becuase a friend named luaren who goes to plant city is coming this year and she would like to know. Thanks!
So everything is going well. All the boys are doing well. My class is taking up a lot of my time, but I only have 7 more days of class left until I am out for the rest of the year. I just hope I want to come back after my winter break. Amber is doin well and is getting into a routine with 3 kids. Kaden is somewhat enjoying soccer, but yet again we are having trouble with him transforming too much while on the field. It is definitely entertaining.
yeah, love those precious soccer moments...gabby's first game around Kaden's age, she stood a picked at her nailpolish while the ball whizzed past her.
randomly assigning everyone to a society? that's cool with me...as long as i'm with people i like. cause you know, as your society helper, it's all about me! :) haha! but seriously, let me know what i can do!!!
^^^^ ha ha ha pfffttt....do not randomly assign any precampers....put them in with the precamper counselor's societies....then on field day, when i'm running around like a flippin' maniac trying to keep them all hydrated, i can just stick with two societies instead of 4....do as I say...thank you
So the appt today went well. They aren't worried about his liver. They are going to recheck it in 6 months to make sure the cyst hasn't grown any. Good news all around for Blake.
So the appointment went well. After an Echocardiogram and an ultrasound, they found a small hole in his heart. The doctor didn't seemed too worried about it and seemed to think that it will close on its own over the next few months. They couldn't hear any kind of murmur when listening to it. This is good news. Everything about it was normal. He goes to the gastroenterologist tomorrow and we will find out about the cyst on his liver. We are optimistic. He had a regular check up yesterday and is 12lb2oz and in the 75th percentile for his height. I don't think growth is a problem anymore. I will try and post soon about his appt tomorrow.
so glad that you got good news! We were told for Mackenna that many babies are born with small holes in their heart that will close like you said. Hers just wasn't that easy and I am glad that Blakes sounds to be that way though!
I haven't had ANY time lately to check my email, let alone pleonast. Sorry to everyone that is getting bored with my two line posts. Everything is going fine. Blake goes to the cardiologist on friday and the gastroenterologist next wednesday. I'll keep you posted on the progress.
I'm guilty though. Not that i think anyone has time or cares to read too much, but usually once I get this train going...there's no stopping it! :) And thanks for the updates Jessie, we all know you're a busy man!
