Lady wakes us up at 5..I had my computer on screen saver (twas on playing soft music) and this morning i guess some pop up window decided to pop up cause early about 5ish i heard this automated lady say "congratulations, you just won a free wii system..." I rolled over and went back to sleep... I was too tired to close the lid on my computer. haha
It wasn't so bad but the music is soft so I turn it up pretty high making it normal tone... when the automated lady spoke I think Steven and I both nearly jumped out of bed ;) I woke up on the hour all night btw... ick
Meeting the "other-side" of church..that's right we've sat on the left side of church for almost a year now and I'm getting names down pretty good altho alot of face seem to still be new to me and I told Steven that we should move around the church building more... Sunday morning was our first time, I had a friend who said she wanted to come visit and she told us she wanted to sit in the middle.... so we sat in the middle to wait for her. As far as I know she never showed up, but I really liked it there! So its going to be random sitting for the next couple of months....
Google It..lol..google has always been my favorite; I downloaded the newest version of google earth; you still can't find my parents really well yet... you can find me really good, even see my jeep out in the parking lot when I'm home... scary I could actually get stalkers now ;P
O-meal..we ran out of eggs so for breakfast over the weekend I made oatmeal. Steven was excited, like it was Christmas or something. I grew up on this and rice for breakfast but from what told me, this would be his second time eating Oatmeal and he was pretty sure the first time it was instant. I thought he was bluffing until I put some in a whole and turned around and he had walked off with it. No milk, butter or sugar in it... I called him back with it and he was like "its my second time, i didnt know" haha! I fixed up his oatmeal and he scarfed it down before I could ask how he liked it. ;) Amazing how differently he and I lived.. and yet I wouldn't trade my childhood for his in a million years!
He's requesting since I get up in the mornings with him, that we eat oatmeal every morning and alternate between that and rice.. I've yet to find out how many times he's eaten rice lol.
'And I quote.'..'Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.'
Amazing how we can think of someone over a situation a certain way before even asking them why they did what they did? We judge ppl without knowing it, before we know them or what is really going on... how sad. This quote helps me to keep my thoughts of others in check :)

So it happened the other day I was playing against the computer to a game of Monopoly on my lunch break.
I couldn't believe how wonderful I did that I was afraid many may not believe me so I took a picture of my screen...
Notice all the pieces I have compared to the computer.
The majority of them I bought from him as he continued to have to morgage properties to pay me since i had the entire left strip of land and it was impossible, without chance, to pass and not land on something I had. Two properties he could not buy once he landed on them so they were auctioned and those I got for less then twenty dollars apiece ^..^
Incase you cant tell I was missing ONLY the YELLOW land |

..they did sometime EARLY this morning. Steven and I slept in the livingroom with the balcony door open (it was stuffy in the bedroom). Since our phones have been dead there was nothing to set an alarm on so we kept periodically waking up just to be sure his DS went off.
Stevens friend gave us five dollars to fill up the jeep so I could get my check from the UPS store. I went to go get it and Kevin is apparently out for the weekend, an unexpected trip to a wedding and the lady was like he'll be back Monday so you can pick up your check. She had no clue I was sitting on empty, but it wasn't her concern... I walked out got in my jeep and prayed long and hard for the Lord to give me an answer. As I drove just down the road the Jeep started sputtering so I pulled in and I ended up waiting on Michelle to get to work
(she was the old user of andiquote on here; I worked with her at BASS PRO SHOPS)...
I waited six hours (from 8am - 2pm) and by the fifth hour I was finally so tired that I fell asleep.. Around 2, I woke up to Michelle tapping on my jeep window and calling out my name. She asked to get in and wanted to know why she found me in her work parking lot asleep and what was going on. I filled her in on somewhat but mostly the fact I couldn't go anywhere cause I was on empty. She was so very sweet about everything! She told me to drive to Meijers gas station, filled up the Jeep halfway and then took me to subway and bought me lunch :) She said that it had to be a miracle it brought me there cause she just got paid today; if it was one week before she would have been broke :) I kept thanking her and she laughed towards the end and reminded me when she wanted to go to FL (back when I worked at bass pro) and asked for the money she did and I lent it to her without hesitating. She was like when you give like that Brandy it comes back. :) I had totally forgot about lending her the money over a year ago but I'm so glad that I did... its that reaping and sowing thing my parents always talked about ;)
She also told me my face looks swollen and asked me to promise I go see the dr very soon lol :)
I had to share the wonderful news that happened today!
..okay well i need to get going; Jordan S. instant messaged Steven lastnight and asked if our house would be open for a Bible Study tonight; I have a few things to take care of before our guest/Bible students arrive, although I'll be tucked away under my covers asleep as I'm not feeling all that good right now...
The Lord is wonderful! Praise HIS name!

What takes me to drive in 10 minutes at 45 miles and hour; it took me over an hour and a half to walk (from our house to Stevens work)... I felt good until the last say fifteen minutes. My stomach felt upset and I spit up some blood for weird reason and then my fingers began swelling... not slightly either. By the time Steven got in a vehicle of a coworker to come home he looked up the hill and he said he saw me walking and was like .. Sherry that is my wife we've got to turn around and get her! So they did. I was listening to the music on my ipod touch and looking at my feet as I walked (sorta). I heard a honk behind me and I was so upset I thought maybe it was more cars who had passed and honked and guys wave at me so I kept walking. I heard the honk over my music again and it was Steven jumping out of a vehicle with Sherry (I worked with her when I worked with Steven and she's sweet!). Steven was like what are you doing?! I was like, gonna walk to the UPS store and get my last check. He looked around and was like don't tell me you walked and look at your fingers! I noticed squeezing them hurt and they felt sorta numb but I never stopped to look at them until that point. Steven helped me back into the vehicle and Sherry got on me for walking with such terrible health as I had. She took us home. I kinda felt like all that walking was for nothing. I had maybe another thirty minutes. Steven asked me to never do that again. I was afraid he'd wait forever for me to pull up and we ran out of gas in the jeep and didn't have phones to talk to each other so I was gonna walk to him and walk home with him. Steven looked in such awe at me it was like he never heard of anyone doing that before or the fact he knew I would go through anything, with him.
He ran a tub full of water so I could soak in and heated up the supper I made before I started walking.
Thanks Eric for the beautiful birthday present! You wont ever know how much I love it and how it fit in such a perfect way. Steven said you're a true caring person and we're not forgetting you on your birthday to keep a lookout when your birthday comes around.
I'm gonna send you an email and update you on some things :) |
