I just accepted an amazing job as an Assistant Director of the Huntington Learning Center. I am so unbelievable excited. It is a brand new to Tucson, with quite a bit of tried and true methods. The woman I am working with is unbelievably amazing.
:)
I still have next semester of classes and then student teaching in the fall. I'm just really bored with my classes. I would rather be getting B's in a really hard class and be studying my brains out instead of coloring a picture in class. It's embarrassing to tell my roommate that, no, I am not just doodling, this is actual homework for which I will recieve actual college credit. Haha, I guess I should just enjoy the slow pace while I can ;)
The coloring homework is actually a part of my literacy methods class and I am also taking science methods. Next semester I have math methods and social studies methods. I do not like methods courses.
I've heard it said
That people come into our lives for a reason
Bringing something we must learn
And we are led
To those who help us most to grow
If we let them
And we help them in return
Well, I don't know if I believe that's true
But I know I'm who I am today
Because I knew you:
Like a comet pulled from orbit
As it passes a sun
Like a stream that meets a boulder
Halfway through the wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
But because I knew you
I have been changed for good
