cowgirljenI just received the coupons you sent in the mail. Thank you so much! The sausage is the exact kind we usually buy too. :-) Thanks again!
kerriganI think it's funny that my little rant appears to have struck a nerve, judging by the fact that many of the comments are longer than the post itself!
cowgirljenAll of the ones I asked specifically for are good until the end of the month, but a few of the extras had expired. But thank you so much for sending them! I am going to stock up on breakfast sausage since that's what Dominic eats with a waffle every morning.

Covering the windows in plastic keeps the cold out and helps save money in heating the house. It just looks like a big sheet of saran wrap on the window. I didn't think it would do anything at first, but everyone here told us to do it, so we did. The kitty punctured a hole in one the other day and you could put your hand up to the hole and feel the cold air pouring in. So they do work! :-)
kristindoulaI don't know what she would have done if we'd been there watching. Ken, Ethan and I stayed in the truck each time we stopped. Phil had predicted that she was going to birth within 2 hours, and his prediction was precise! I asked him about what they do when people are around, if it stalls their labor. He said if it was just him, it doesn't bother them, but if we got out, they would probably be disturbed. They are so used to him (he checks them all at least twice a day and works with them outside of "calving," too), I'm guessing they probably would birth with him near just fine. The stories they have to tell are fascinating! We were talking about how it would be cool to go out there on a Saturday and work with them sometimes. It would be SO good for the kids!
sparkergreat to see y'all too!
carolina_sueI'll keep you close in my thoughts and prayers as the time draws near for baby Statler to make his appearance!
mommaroushHi - I'm in the pregnancy group and trying to find mommas due around the time I am. I'm due December 31st :-) With a boy! Hope it's okay that I added you :)
hdcan you explain the CVS points or whatever they call them?

Coupons, anyone? 11-11-08 05:44pm CST
Do you clip coupons? I have clipped a LOT and several are nearing their expiration date at the end of this month. If you know of a coupon you would like from the past few months, let me know and I'll see if I have it and mail you some no charge (plus some bonus ones to bulk up the mail a little). Just let me know what you want, if anything. I just hate throwing these away when I'm sure someone out there could use them, but if I must throw them out, then I must. They're cluttering up my kitchen as it is.

By the way, I always clip coupons from the paper and rarely use the medicine ones (except the baby Advil, Tylenol, and Motrin) or the hair coloring ones, so if you collect these, let me know and I'll save some of those back for you too. :)
littlebitHey lady... I'll take any of the green giant steamer, bagelfuls, toaster strudels, stoneyfield farm yogurt (yo-baby), cottonelle TP... I may think of a few more. Any of these, I'd love to have!
sunnyleeMy Mom is and has been the clip coupon queen!!!
cowgirljenAny coupons for breakfast sausage, Swiffer products, or paper towels I would love!
rdockensAre you on the group: Grocery_Gamers? They have a couple of coupon trains going, maybe you can join one of those.
ilovepondsHow about Revitalift????
littlebitThanks!
littlebitAny wipes coupons that you don't use I'll gladly take...I have some baby products ones that I can send you as well... I'll email you my address.
sharonYou know, I have tried a few times clipping coupons, but I don't usually buy what the coupons are for so it doesn't make it worth my effort. I did rack up some great savings at CVS a few times (did the card thing with them) but it seemed somebody always beat me to the stuff I wanted, so I gave up.
mandaoTim is always fascinated when most weeks I can save 10-20 dollars at the grocery store just in coupons. I was checking out the other day and there was a lady next to me with a cart over flowing with stuff. She didn't use a singe coupon and at-least half of her stuff I had coupons for! I felt sad for her because she probably had about 40 dollars worth she could have saved in coupons!
cowgirljenThank you!
littlebitI don't mind the Huggies coupons! I can use several in one transaction at either CVS or Babies R Us... If you don't want them, I'll take them :-)
charliesangeli have the same problem as Sharon, i never seem to find coupons for things i would buy. I need to check the sunday paper though, bc i bet they would have more.
sheshehow are you feeling??
carachelleI got your message. I worked today. :(

General Store 11-04-08 08:45pm CST
There's a radio station out here in the sticks called K-Moo (as in, the sound a cow makes). Okay, they have a General Store hour from 5:30-6:30pm CST--people call in with their stuff or their wish list of stuff and other people call in to buy/trade for their stuff or offer their own stuff. It's very nice.

KMOO.com
You can listen for yourself from 5:30-6:30pm. It will be the highlight of your evening.

"I've got 4 labrador puppies and I'll trade 'em for $150 a piece. Or...a half-way decent pack mule."
kerriganI think I've stumbled across that station once..
curlieThat's cool!
tanjaFun
littlelambWe have the same thing here. I forget what it's called, but it was a funny name.
chumbletteI love KMOO and the General Store!! It's based out of Mineola, about 5 minutes from where my family lives. We play it in the flower shop every day!!
robynbobmlol, neat!
