about the tie dye party we also did spin art, face painting, and bracelets with the colored sand that i ordered from oriental trading. o and i had magic scratch flowers for them upon arrival to do that i also got from oriental trading. fun!! let me know how it turns out if that's what you decide to do. house stuff looks great here!! love home improvement stuff!!
Sydney's team won their soccer game. Matthew said that his team tied. (I thought they didn't count Matthew's goal, so I'm still suspicious about that).
Today I am going to finish painting the garage so that maybe I can start parking in there again. Some of the tiles are laying out on the countertop, so we'll probably be working with those today as well.
Hopefully after this week I'll be close to done with the addition and I can post some photos.
I'm waiting for the kids to get up so that we can start school.
My brother and sister are coming in this weekend and we will probably go to the balloon fiesta.
I was supposed to be going to the homeschool campout next week, but Frank has to work and I'm bummed. It was too far of a drive by myself. So, I hope everyone has a good time. Maybe next year.
My foot is swollen from some bone on bone contact while sparring. I need to get some serious shin guards just for sparring.
Last night we went to a free fall carnival that we go to every year and it was a lot of fun.
I got into bed last night and realized my movies were due back. Movies I didn't even watch. So, I had to get up, get my kids up, and drive over to the video store in my pj's.
Today is a soccer day. Matthew and Sydney both have games. I'll try to get some photos if I don't have to ref.
I haven't had a stove or a kitchen sink for two days. Hopefully today the new sink will get going.
That returning movies to the store late at night is exactly why we have Netflix. Awesome service. And cheaper than the video store. You might want to check into that.
You're awesome! That's so cool about #2, I should check at my school for the track records! #6 is THE best. I openly eat my box of Ho Ho's, they are the kids, there's nothing they can say. Ha!

I finished all the Twilight series last weekend. I thought they were really good.
Yesterday I painted the ceiling and one wall in the new room. I still have paint in my hair. It doesn't wash out very easily.
I'm going to pick up my tile for the countertops today. Hopefully it will be in. You never know with Home Depot. At the end of this I have some stories to share. If I was a professional home builder I would go nuts having to deal with Home Depot all the time!

There are ALWAYS stories to tell when you are re-modeling part of your house! There's always some sort of adventure that will happen.
Luckily professional homebuilders don't have to deal directly with the Home Depot...they deal with companies such as HD Supply (where I work) Although I'm sure they get the same run around. Good luck getting the paint out of your hair :)

we talk to the teachers, but we get looks if we're seen around school when not in class. teachers are on our side - and its kinda done to them too. it's sad. the school i work at is known for the interpreter turn-over reate. I plan to change all this :-D
