~"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love."~
if you are going to complain about something anytime soon don't say "i'm not trying to be rude" before you state your complaint.. because chances are it is going to be rude anyway!
For example:
"I'm not trying to be rude, but I have a 9 year old at home who can wrap better than this!"
all because she could see some tape on her package.. seriously how else does she expect us to wrap gifts??? with magic fairy dust that magically makes the paper stick to the package? uggggggggghhhh
Or, you could have said what I would have most likely said, " Well, if you got a nine year old at home that can do better, take it home and let the do it ya dingbat!"
^^^I'm thinking if you say THAT, you won't have to worry about any more customers. Try, "We're fresh out of fairy dust, but if you'd like to wait, it will be here in 2000 years."
Is so much fun, I love it. The best part is that Juniors dominated the pep rally, we have one 2 out of 3, and everyone knows the homecoming one is the most important. But, the part that makes me really sad is that I officially now only have 1 football homecoming left. Time just flies by, it feels like yesterday I was starting my first day at Blackman as a freshman. It's hard to believe that I have less than two years left. I love high school, and I really don't ever want to leave.
karledarlie, I'm sorry you did not get the job. They don't know what they are missing, huh? If I need the help, and you were 18, and if I hired girls I'd give you a job.
I had a job interview today at the library. It was for the page position, which is a fancy term for putting away books. It went really well, and the man told me he liked me, and that i was really sweet (i know shocking, right??). he also told me that i was a finalist. i am really excited, and praying that i get the job. the sooner i get a job, the sooner i can pay for insurance to drive!!!
Oh WONDERFUL!!! You know she and I were one back in the day?!!!! It's a GREAT job, tho can be rather repetitious... especially after 3 years... but I wish I could go back to it any day!!! Hope you get it!!!!
How exciting!!! I hope you get the job!!!I worked in the school library throughout high school. It is not hard work as a rule but I usually got a little distracted when I found books I wanted to read.
I just know a lot of people there and he is one who would interview you. :-) I don't mind at all that you put me down as a refrence. :-) I think I need to go in there and tell them they need to hire you! ♥
wow! Mine doesn't cost THAT much!!!.... only about 500,000 because I'm a good driver, don't drive a red car, make good grades, NEVER had a traffic violation/accident, I'm a girl and now over 21!!! lol! JK! But it is a considerable amount of money.
Congrats on the license!! Ick about the insurance though. I think boys' rates tend to be worse, if that is any comfort. Just another reason to be glad you're a girl. :)
Oh, and thanks so much for you help tonight! It was such a relief to be able to finish that and get it to Samantha before she left. You're so sweet and fun and willing to help out, and I really appreciate that about you!
