I know you have all missed me and are dying to know what we've been up to right???
Well, here goes...
We went to Dolphin Island Ala. for 2 weeks in June and then spent the last two weeks in Edna while Addie and John learned how to swim. That's about it. Very glad to be home and around are family here. We missed everyone very much!!!
VBS was awesome! Props to everyone who taughtand made it so much fun for our little ones!
Well I'm going to go now and try to come up with some more interesting stuff later.

I think EVERY time I see you, you ask if I remember you!;) No, but really not anymore, but it used to be like every year and a half we'd see eachother again and be like "yeah, we know eachother!!" I am glad to find you on here!! Now I can be nosey and find out what all is happening in your life!!!! ;)
Hey lady!! Sorry we missed the party today. Josh wasn't feeling well, and came home sick from work. And he had hives all over his body from some medicine...not sure what exactly at the moment. aww..poor addie! it is pretty sad..actually..emma loves addie! yeah..i thought that was funny that ya'll were there..cuz i told jarrod that your always talking about getting stuff from costco and then he saw ya'll there. YEP, we are always running to the store for different things..and decided to see if it would be better to just buy in bulk..as long as we dont eat everything to quick and make it last! :)

it was good to see you i'v gotten a lot of money for my quest for victory so i think i will be going to california .......so are you going to be a chaperone in california when we go to the zoo or seaworld and are you going to the rose bowl and the rose bowl parade if you want me to ask our band director if you can be a chaperone i will and i will tell him that you are tyler samples aunt karri just let me know
Hey you! Hope you are having a great summer. I was able to visit with Kammi and Jessie while I was out in CA around the 4th. Sophie is such a doll! So peaceful and happy-go-lucky.
Addie and John are so cute and so good in class!! John doesn't talk much, but I got a smile out of him today. And Addie is so sweet and so patient with all the other kids in there. I look forward to getting to know you all better!! Have a great rest of the week and we will see you soon!!
I have been typing for the last 45 mins and talking to my Sister Kammi on the phone and totaly deleted my entry. OK Starting again...
For those that don't know, my Uncle Leonard has been living with us for the past few months. He had been living with my Mom but she isn't able to tend to all his needs any longer. Now I finally have my fourth child. Leonard was born mentally retarded so the kids love having another person around to play with, He is 62 but about their age mentally.
My very favorite Uncle on my Dads side passed away last week. He was diagnosed with lung cancer, given a few months to live and died within 2 weeks. The part that breaks my heart the most is I never got to say goodbye in person and he was never restorded to God. The kids and I will be flying to San Diego Wednesday afternoon for a week before the funeral and Doug will fly to SD Wednesday the 10th to join us.
Big surprise...
We are taking the kids to Disneyland on Thursday after Doug gets there. Everyone in the family is going so it should be a lot of fun!!! Our kids have never been and will die when they find out.

Wow, you are right, a lot going on. So sorry to hear about the loss of your Uncle - is this one that I would have known? I hope you have a safe trip to SD - I will keep all of you in my prayers. I know the kids will love Disney - the real one :)
Also sorry to hear about Kandi. When does she get the test results back? I'll be praying for good news. I did see pictures of Kammi's little one. She is a doll as are all of yours. We don't have any little ones yet, just our 3 spoiled fur kids. So where has Kathi been living recently?
I didn't realize your uncle passed so quickly after his diagnosis. That does make it tough. Hope you guys have safe travels out to San Diego and tons of fun at Disneyland!
You are so good to take care of your Uncle. There need to be more people like you:) I think it's wonderful!! I'm sorry about the death of your other uncle...that has to be hard!

One of mine and Jesse's friends sang the first song (The Luckiest) to his girl friend right before he proposed to her in front of all of us. It was so cute! What a great playlist. :)

Hi Karri, yep that was me at Cedar Park. I from NorCal originally but lived in North San Diego and worshipped at Escondido. I'm living up in San Jose for the time being and travelling all over for work. Will be in Plano next week. Tx is growing on me :)

Mom and Dad are doing well. Dad is still commuting to Philly for work. Nathan and I are doing well. Our 8 yr anniversary is in June - can you believe it? Time really flies, doesn't it. Mark just got married this past Saturday. He should be posting pictures any day now. Jon is still working for a congressman up on Capitol Hill and absolutely loves his job. The joy of being a mother really can't be expressed in words. Something about children can completely change my outlook on my day no matter how it started.
This morning I woke up to hearing Addie (who just turned 4) signing on the monitor "I'm in the way the bright and shining way". It tunred into a great teachable moment. I asked her if she knew where the Glory land way was which led us to a great opportunity to talk about Heaven!
My husband Doug and I always talk about how since we have had children, getting to heaven means so much more to us because we can't imagine being there without our chilred or them there without us. I hate seeing them in pain wether it be Momma and Papa inflicted or by an accident and to think of them in eternal pain just breaks my heart.
John (about to turn 3) and Jack (almost 1 1/2) took about an hour today to fall asleep for nap time. As much as it made me mad to see, it made me laugh (but not in front of them). Those crazy boys while still being confined to there cribs where able to destroy their room. It amazing how a spanking can help you fall asleep quick!
Well off to the tub for bath time. I wish ya'll could see the 3 of them in the tub together! I'm really going to miss the times we have with them at this age!

aww...your kids are so sweet. I was just thinking tonight in class how fast the have grown...it seems like Addie and John were just babies! I love 'em!
