Grandpa Joe passed away Friday morning... we got the call and left within about 1.5-2 hours. I am sorry that I was not able to update anyone with what was going on. We took the computer with us, but didn't really have a chance to update anyone. The viewing was Sunday and the funeral was Monday. We got home yesterday night and we are going to be leaving again Friday morning. One of Randy's little cousins (one of Joe's grandsons) is turning 5. We were trying to deciede weather or not to go, but we thought it was not fair to Noah to lose a grandpa and people not come to his birthday party all in one week. My parents watched Daisy for us this last weekend and I found a good kennal for her this weekend. It is one that the lady keeps the dogs in the house or outside playing except for at night, that is when she puts them in an actual kennal.

I'm sorry for your loss. Life is full of joy and grief. I hope you can find the blessing in having an event to balance the grief you have suffered with a birthday party that is celebrating life.
Please Pray for Randy's step grandfather. He was just put in hospice they are not sure if he will make it through the night... they stopped force feeding him a few days ago. Gandpa Joe is the closest thing Randy has had on that side of his family as a grandpa. His biological grandpa died before he can really have memories of him. We just pray that he goes peacefully and with as little of pain as possible! I will keep everyone updated as I am updated. Please pray for the family and for Grandpa Joe.Thank you,Katie
My husband and I are going off on a weekend and was wondering if anyone knew of a church of christ by St. Claire Shores MI. We will be up there the weekend of the 21-23. We are going up there to visit my husband's family so if we need to find a hotel Saturday night in order to be close to a church that is fine, we just need to find one.

The only church I've ever been to in MI was in Ypsilanti, but that was several years ago and at that time they met in a school gymnasium, so I don't know where they meet.

Thank you very much for all of the prayers for Randy's dad. The heart cath turned out pretty well. They found a blockage, but his heart had already compencated and grown a bipass on its own. They did not have to do anything. They said that his bipasses that they had to do when they had done open heart a few years ago looked good!
My husband's Dad is having a heart cath today. Please bring him and our family to God in your prayers this morning. About 2 years ago he had open heart surgery and his regularly scheduled stress test came out poorly a week or so ago. So, now he has to have this done today. I just pray that if there is something wrong that they can fix it today and not have to do open heart again. He is only in his 50's.
