I am now the proud owner of free roundtrip airfare on Southwest Airlines...I have been travelling quite a bit July 28-31...August 3-14...and I take off again on Monday. My trips thae past three weeks have been to Arizona and New Mexico to train mine warehouse employees. Monday I'll be flying to Oklahoma City to a leadership forum for the Citizen Corps Programs. I've never been to Oklahoma City before so I'm looking forward to it. Then wthe next week I'm flying to Miami...not Florida...Miami, Arizona to finish up the training for the mine.
I'm swamped with projects for the Sheriff's Office in-between trips and my partner at work left on a 10-day Alaska cruise this morning. Fluffy was very happy to see come home and I am expecting to get a good night's sleep tonight. What's up with everybody else...any anniversary plans? |

The earthquakes continue and are traveling east. The rumor is that the fault they were on was too small for a big earthquake so the tremors are migrating east through a series of other faults to a bigger one (about 48 miles long).
The people in Somersett are starting to get a break and actually go through full days and nights without any quakes. Now the people in Wadsworth and Lemmon Valley are getting woken up instead.
Good news is that they are reading all the emergency preparedness materials I am distributing and many of them are actually taking the steps to get ready. Fluffy and I a stocked and ready to go. Although I do want to get her a new crate.
I had a great trip home. Jason and Amy looked so happy and the wedding was so pleasant and lovely. I am so blessed they allowed me to help. |
