"Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies at the gate"
Yes dear, but I don't know how I will do without Alan, Barb, and even David...I am so stressed. I wouldn't be surprised if I sprout some gray hairs. I am so thankful that God's providence works in our lives. Without it, I think I would die.
yeah, but I won't have David Brewer either. He is @ westside, I will be at eastside. well, they are small,but I think their zeal is so amazing. they are sincere in what they do. I really look forward to the future in what I can doand how i can grow, but getting there is my issue.
Jason and Stephanie, Jason Smith, Matt and Katie, Kyle and Katie, Annie, Steve, and Rick. There are a few more I think, but I am not sure what their names are. I am not the best with names. : )
Is pretty busy right now.
Got lot's of things to do with school
and church and such.
I have to admit, I was dreading seeing
the snow come; but I'm really enjoying it now.
It's very calming to watch it fall down.
I am reminded constantly of the drags of schoolwork,
although I know I have to do it.
Dreaming away the days and fighting to win the struggles.
I get more and more excited everyday for x-mas.
I can't wait to see Lexi and Michael again,
it's been forever since they've been here to annoy me.
There's nothing like making them happy with their
gifts on x-mas morning, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Other than this, my life is simply...life.
Ask me how may day went..
my response is..."it was "school""
Evangelism Seminars starting tomorrow,
Then a gospel meeting with Allen Malone.
Then next friday we're going to The Backyard Brawl!
Okay, I won't bore you all with my life anymore.
Never quit, even if you feel like dying.
"For our Salvation is nearer to us now,
than when we first believed."
Romans 13:11
: ) I can't wait! I will be leaving soon to go to the seminar. Are we gonna still pass out flyers in the snow? If so i am ready! : ) lol we just have to make sure we don't get too distracted by the snow. :)
Hey!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss you. We should all get together sometime and have a party! =) Some laughs are definitely healthy and we should keep them in stock. Laughing also burns calories. LOL
When daddy prays,
The house gets still;
His voice is slow and deep.
We shut our eyes,
The clock ticks loud;
So quiet we must keep.
When daddy prays,
He doesn't use
The words the preacher does.
He prays for lots of different things,
But mostly it's for us.
His prayers get awful long sometimes,
And hard to understand.
So I just wiggle up quite close,
And let him hold my hand.
I can't remember all of it;
I'm little yet, you see.
But there is one thing I can't forget,
My daddy prays for me.
Read this in a flier and thought it
was one of the cutest, sweetest things I've
read in quite sometime. There is nothing quite
as humbling as seeing a grown man have
such reverence and respect for God.
A man who sits down and prays for and with
his wife and children. This poem pictures
preciously the great value of a father who
follows God and tries to lead his children
and wife close to God too.
Kids that have this example in their homes
are very fortunate, and much more likely to
be successful at staying on the Godly road.
Just a little reminder that men and women
alike should try their best to prepare themselves
to be this kind of example to their kids and others.
I know I'm not perfect. Very, VERY far from it.
But I do try my best. I try to try my best.
Please don't quit you guys.

Ah, that is so amazing. ^_^ I love that poem...that's what I want my future husband and I to do with our kids (and even before we have kids ^_^). And a definate Amen and high five to what you said after that. Love you giggle sister in Christ. ^_^ See you Wednesday!

Give me The Bible, star of gladness gleaming,
To cheer the wand'rer lone and tempest tossed;
No storm can hide that radiance peaceful beaming,
Since Jesus came to seek and save the lost.
Give me The Bible, when my heart is broken,
When sin and grief have filled my soul with fear;
Give me the precious words by Jesus spoken,
Hold up faith's lamp to show my Savior near.
Give me The Bible, all my steps enlighten,
Teach me the danger of these realms below;
That lamp of safety o'er the gloom shall brighten,
That light alone the path of peace can show.
Give me The Bible, lamp of life immortal,
Hold up that splendor, by the open grave;
Show me the light from Heaven's shining portal,
Show me the glory, gilding Jordan's wave.
Chorus:
Give me The Bible, Holy message shining;
Thy light shall guide me, in the narrow way;
Precept and promise, law and love combining,
Till night shall vanish, in eternal day.
Oh, I'm dandy. :-) Just sayin' I hate the times when I have felt like I agree with the song...I'm fine now. There're no boys to be sad about at the moment. :-)
If he wins, I will hide in a cave with you and sing hymns. "love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind and love all of mankind as you would love yourself..."
