pretty much describes Lilia right now. She sees a spoon coming her way and will not open at all. It's not like I am giving her peas! :) Mashed bananas, avacados, and pears, are all on her dislike list. She seems to like mashed sweet potatoes, but only when warmed up. Oh well, it's not like she is starving. (At her 6 month well baby check up 2 weeks ago she was 20lbs.) Here is a picture to prove her dislike of foods.
I will not open:
At least one will eat what I make:
Isty Bitsy Costume Party:
My little fairy's (I pinned Smarties to my pants and went as...Smartie Pants, but I did not get a full length picture.)
Korban isn't a fan of "food" either. It is a good thing that I am nursing this boy or he would just waste away! (He refuses the bottle too) So, I feel your pain! He was 16lbs. 1oz at his check-up so he is just fine as well! :)
They are such dolls and they look so cute in the bows and tutu's that Aunt Holly made them!! So precious can't wait to get pics. So these pics are taken with the new camera? Can't wait to try it out when you guys are here for Thanksgiving!!! Grandpa & I are so excited to see the 4 of you!! They have the most beautiful eyes!
How sweet! Evan would love her rejects! He'd gladly chomp down on pears, avacados, mashed bananas, and even peas are all on his favorites list! He's probably close to 20 lbs. by now, too! We'll see in a couple weeks. Love you!
They have the same shape eyes!!! And they are both precious & beautiful! God has blessed our family so much! Thank you for being part of that blessing!
1. I was born and raised in Las Cruces, N.M., I love going home.
2. My Brother and I are only 12 months apart, I don't know how my Mom kept her sanity.
3. My favorite fruit is fresh pineapple, I love it!
4. I can clap with one hand..yes, you read right. I can clap with one hand. If you don't believe me, ask and I will make a fool out of myself.
5. My favorite hymnal is The Ninety and Nine. My Mom sang it to me when I was little :)
6. I've never had surgery or broken any bones.
7. He would call me "scar-face" when we were dating b/c I have 2 scars, both from my brother.
8. I am half Hispanic..what, you can't tell?? So, that makes my redhead, transparent, blue eyed kids 1/4th..oh yes, and they are proud. :)
So I have to post some pictures of the girls. Last Saturday we went to the KidsFaire, at the University of Phoenix Stadium. We had a good time, but it was hot and overpriced. We went to get pictures with Elmo, Curious George and maybe catch the live performance of Barney (oh yes, Kaylie loves him..ugh) We did all three, but we were overwhelmed with booth after booth of vendors trying to get us to buy something or sign up. Overall we had fun, it was nice to have some family time. Here are some of the pictures.
Lilia was just about to fall asleep:
BARNEY!!
Looking at the trains:
Not to sure about Elmo and Curious George:
Adorable girl:
Family picture: (Kaylie is making a goofy face)
Gregg reads to the girls b/f bed, this is my favorite picture of them all. Lilia always looks at Gregg when he is reading, it is so adorable:
#8 is hilarious! You have the cutest 1/4 mexican, clear skinned, red headed girls there are! The pictures are adorable - especially Lilia looking up at Gregg.
I try to read to Alyssa but she wants to hold the book and put it in her mouth or just play with it. So I have stopped trying for now. Glad you had fun!
Just warms a Grandma's heart to see pics of her Granddaughters!! They are soooo cute! Can you think of how fair skined they would be without that 1/4 hispanic in them! Of course from dad's side there is irish, indian, german & welsh running through those veins also! Then throw in your mom's genes! Well lets just say you have Two wonderfully amazing girls!
I just had to tell you that a friend of mine from church here is moving to Dallas to perform as Baby Bop on the TV show...Thought you might appreciate that :) I just love the pictures of your girls, they are so adorable.
A conversation I just had with Kaylie. Lilia and Kaylie are playing on my bed. Lilia still does not have the best control of her body parts. Lilia pushes Kaylie with her foot, the push made Kaylie fall over.
Me: "Whoops, it was an accident."
Kaylie: "Lilia don't push me over, I'm your big sisser."
Me: "Kaylie, Lilia does not know what she is doing, she is still little."
Kaylie: "I'm your big sisser, I will push you over."
At this point I was trying not to laugh. I went on to explain about loving your sister. I think Kaylie has sibling rivalry down, my silly girl!
This picture is more funny to me after you told me that Kaylie thinks Lilia is to heavy!!! How cute is that. Those little arms can only hold up so much!
Cool! I've got the munchkin plastic sippie cups and the straw kind. The rest are going in the trash. Glad you found the platex ones free of BPA!! Gottal get ready for bible study! Take care! Love you 4
Yes, unless Gary and I are going out specifically for Giordano's, we make our pizza at home. It's really less than 20 minutes of hands on time for 1 to 2 crusts.
I have to much on my mind. Steven (my older brother) leaves to Glynoc, GA (near Brunswick) in about 7 hrs. He is going there to train for the U.S. Marshals. He has gone through the Fire Academy, and the Police Academy; which he did great with both, so he knows the physical demands of what he is about to face. His previous job was with Las Cruces Fire Department as Fire Detective. When the U.S. Marshals presented a job opportunity he jumped on it...he loves a new challenge. Keep his family in your prayers as this will be a long 4 months without him and for Steven that he can endure the months of hard physical and academic training. I have to add that I am very proud of him no matter what the outcome. :)
Wow what a man!! Thats alot hes accomplished so far and looks like he will do just fine in his training. I will deff. keep his family in my prayers. I cant imagine being with out chuck for 4 months. But it would be so worth it in the end for them after its all over.
