I just wanted to let everyone know that as of last night I'm in Indiana and will be here until at least August 26th. I'm here to visit friends and family but I'm also here to work.
I will post an update soon on what is going on with Brad and I.
ack! i'm so sorry i never emailed you back! somehow i thought i had more time before you came. we just got back in town ourselves. i'll try to email you back today or tomorrow. SORRY!
BETTER IDEA! can you ask jamie if he can pick us up at the ups store on charlestown road by the speg shop tonight (if he says hes coming) he could drop us off on his way home. :D I leave at 4pm for work so if you could find out and tell me what he says id appreciate it. love you!
My husband, Brad, has an interview tomorrow (Friday, May 23rd at 2pm) in Hazard, Kentucky. This is a state job and would get him out of the terrible schedule he keeps with sports. He is very very hopeful. We are driving to Prestonburg, KY late tonight after he gets off work and then driving the rest of the way tomorrow. Then we will have to turn around and he will have to go back into the office Friday evening.
My mother, father, brother and sister-in-law are coming in for the weekend and will be here Friday evening.
Thanks to everyone that has and continues to pray for us.

What hasn’t changed is my husband is still looking for a job elsewhere, he is hoping to hear something in the next couple weeks from a company is Hazard, Kentucky. We are still pretty sure we are going to have to move in the near future to have a better future. We continue to appreciate all the prayers.
My sister-in-laws brother, Joe, has been oversees since March and will have to be there approximately 18 months. She has asked me to ask everyone I know to pray for his safety because he is going in and out of some of the more dangerous areas.
Now for my exciting news, I am now an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay. The company offers so much freedom and great possibilities not to mention I have used the products for 7 years now and continually love them. So after much prayer, my husband and I decided it was the right thing for me to do. You can check out my website at www.marykay.com/kelleydamron and my email is kelleydamron@marykay.com. I am offering free gifts, free shipping and ways to earn free product. And I would be happy to help anyone who doesn’t have a consultant and is concerned about great skin care or would just love some personalized service.
I'm sorry everything is just so crazy for you all! One of the things about WV is it is so hard to find good-paying jobs. I hope Brad can find something that he likes!!
I am sorry that I have not emailed you back......i have been sick and really busy...just a lot going on....Glad to hear about the MK business....i attempted that for a little while, but I was not really successful...probably because I didn't push it like I should.....I do use a few of the products and do like what I use....mostly face products and lip sticks.....I do hope that Brad finds something sometime soon...I know that it must be tough just not knowing what you are going to do and where you are going to go.....hope to hear from you again soon....love you bunches!! my email at work is lana.williams.jdck@statefarm.com...my address is 2325 County Road 1107 Vinemont, AL 35179 hm 256-747-3785 cell 256-338-0274
Hey....i am not sure how the shipping would work...i will find it out and let you know.....how is the MK business??? I will let you know when I am needing something.... thank you...Love ya!! =)
Yes, you would have to pay shipping....i am not a consultant anymore, and I am not sure that we could waive the shipping....i think that everyone pays shipping on their order forms.....i am really not sure what else I can do.....=)
Hey Kelley!! Stacy (Gideon) here. I just found you on here. I saw your parents a couple weeks ago. I hope you are doing well. How's the job search going??? Hope to hear from you soon.
First I would like to thank everyone for all the prayers and well wishes, they are and have been greatly appreciated. I wanted to post, since so much has changed in my life.
A lot of you know that the move to WV has turned into somewhat of a nightmare, but we are making it through it. For those of you who don't know the company my husband took a job with in August, decided to shut down with no warning on January 2. He started another job Feb. 4 taking a huge pay cut and is miserable for the time being. He is looking daily for any job possibilities in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee. Decent paying Sports Editor position or Sport Information Asst. position are just hard to come by, but that is where his experiences are.
We are trying to stay within a 6 hr. max distance from both of our families, because some day we hope to have children and we want them to know there grandparents and aunt/uncle.
I am still unemployed, since the move, but that may be a blessing in disguise. (But that would take more explanation then I have time tonight to give.) I seem to be way over qualified and have made more money then any jobs available in WV and I have had very few people even call me back for an interview. Our families have been a true blessing for us, as well as my sister-in-laws family in helping us out and I’m so thankful for them.
I feel like all I do is ask for prayers, but I would appreciate them once again. Especially for my husband, Brad, he continues to worry and stress about this and thinks that he has ruined my life with all this. Where I tend to be more easy going, I’ve been able to handle it a little better, but being human I still stress from time to time.
You know we are praying for you. I'll look around in Memphis to see if there's anything... Of course, this is a bit more than 6 hours away, but not much...
Hey girl!! It is great to hear from you!! I am so sorry to hear of these difficult times that you are going through....I had no idea!! I pray that things will improve and that you and Brad will find some peace of mind!! I love you bunches and I miss you!! =)
Hey girl!! Yes, I do check my juno email, however not very often. I did receive an email from you, but honestly, I have not had alot of time to respond....I will definitely get back with you though......I will be at my parents' house tonight, so hopefully I will get the chance to email you back....there has been alot going on here.....i have been really busy....Hope you are doing well...i haven't forgot about you......I will get back to you as soon as I can....Love you!!
So plans have changed a little once again, but I am very excited the move is so near. I gave my notice at IU Southeast on Tuesday and as much as I've wanted to turn in my notice it was still really hard because I have spent the last 7 years of my life growing up while working there.
My last day will be Wednesday, December 5.
I will finish packing and load the cars on Dec. 6.
On the morning of Dec. 7, my parents are going to follow me with some of my stuff to West Virginia.
I will get there just in time for husband's families Christmas party that Saturday evening, which my parents will go to with us and then they will head back to Indiana on Sunday.
I may not have internet right away when I first get there but we will have it soon thereafter. And the job thing is still uncertain, but we do have a possibility of me working in my husband's office temporarily as a secretary.
Thanks to everyone once again for all the continued prayers, this has all been very stressful and hard on both Brad and I.
It won't be much longer! I know how hard it is to be apart from your husband during such a stressful time, but it will be so wonderful to see him when you get there. Praying for you!
Hoe-cakes are: 2 c corn meal, 2 c. boiling water, about 1 tbsp salt and sugar each. Blend all together. Shape about 1/4 c of the mash in your hands as a ball. Put 3-4 balls in a pan with hot oil and flatten into small cakes. Fry till golden on both sides. Really good with apple butter. Serve with anything you would have corn bread with. :) Simple, cheap, easy. I found them on this site along with a lot of other useful and interesting (to me) stuff.
I had alot of friends from like 3 years ago that dont talk to me anymore so im updating the list as ppl talk to me I add them back :D i didnt hear from you today-- how goes it? :D
Had a great time hanging out with you over the weekend, itll be sad to see you go but I know you'll come back to visit :) Thanks again for ALL you did for Steven and I over the years! :hugs:
Who's your best "girl" friend on Pleo? Or at least your top five? I've figured up a way to show them you appreciate them this holiday season! Check out my blog!
Hey Kelley! This is Beth Erickson. I was just looking through my friends names list and saw you. It took me a little reading and investigation to realize (well confirm) you were indeed who I thought you were. I don't think I knew your last name. I just wanted to say congratulations on finding the love of your life. I am so happy for you. You seem extremely happy and I am sure even more so once you and your hubby are back in the same state. Take care and good luck with the move.
